What a great place. Ok so it's getting a bit of a refurb downstairs and could look better but it'll look great once done.I had "The Works", haircut, beard trim and styling, wet shave and it was bloody brilliant . The fella doing this, Paul, was very professional and did exactly what I asked for and I left very happy. I'll definitely be back and will ask for Paul again. The other guys getting haircuts all seemed very happy with what had been done and all the stylists where friendly and approachable.I didn't get a coffee though......Need to sort that out next time I'm there. Like an idiot i went in for my appointment a week early. Sat there for an hour ..doh . Even though they were ready to close and i got it wrong they still sorted my beard out. I had let my beard grow for 8 months after the last trim i had at a previous shop had caused me to cut a years worth of growth. Understandably i was nervous, i didn't need to be . After walking past the shop since I changed jobs to the Northern Quarter, I decided to go in for the beard trim. I walked in and was warmly welcomed by Ben. After a few bad beard trim experiences elsewhere I'd hesitated about getting it trimmed and had let it get wild rather than it being ruined (and having to cut it back).. I'm chuffed with the finished result. Ben did an excellent job and did exactly what I wanted and chuffed to bits with the result, meaning it can continue to grow with some shape and looking sharp.Cheers Ben! Will see you again mate! Had the works with Marc yesterday. Was my first cut at the Mr Beardmore’s or anyone new in six years- I had to change because my usual barber moved away and I had to find a new one. I am very happy with my fresh haircut and beard trim. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop and the quality of the haircut I was given. Pictured the shop very differently in my mind before i went, when i got there it was clean and all the lads were very welcoming. At first i was uncertain about the price for a beard trim, but then Jake ended up spending over an hour detailing and shaping my beard to give me a perfect look to go with my fresh fade. Went in this place today for a cut and must the cut was spot on , showed him a picture and the lad nailed it perfectly. If your wanting a 10 minute service in and out then this isn't the place for the you. They take there time and the attention to detail from this guy was amazing, people don't realise that the blending in properly is hardest part and takes time and skill to do properly , I know this based on poor cuts at other places. I had Ben who was great listened to exactly what I wanted after showing the picture explaining the blend I was after, even making suggestions to me what I'd suit based on the style presented in the picture. My man Gareth! What can I say? Absolute legend. Walked in there and he took his time with me even though he had a date later on. He used scissors on my hair the whole way! Proper attention to detail. I didn't ask for anything specific. Just said, "Hey. Can you make me look good?" And he worked away for a solid hour and a half. Was in Manchester at the weekend, was over for the football and a bit of shopping with the girlfriend. Needed a haircut and bit of a beard trim so the first thing i done was check the best place to do so in Manchester, Mr. Beardmores came up so I decided to go there before I left for home. All I can say is that I wasn't dissdisappoited with the service the staff gave me with their welcoming personailties. When I sat down I got a good advice about what way I should have my hair (as I'm growing it out) by Jake, no honestly is one of the nicest guys I've met and possible the best beard trim I've had since.. ever really! Sadly I'm from Ireland and can't go every week or two but I'm going to be back in may and will be heading back as soon as I land in Manchester again.
