I recently fitted 2 bathrooms for Polly at her house and discovered that she specialises in helping small businesses with their marketing and social media. I wasn't on Facebook as I am a bit of a technophobe and Polly convinced me to get on Facebook first of all and then I realised after seeing my colleague put a picture of my work on Facebook there was a lot of interest which made me think it would be great to have a Business Facebook page. Polly set up this for me and explained it and spent time going through it with me and already I am finding it incredibly useful and easy to use and a great way to showcase the work that I do. Feeling a little lost and overwhelmed by the whole prospect of using social media to promote my nutrition business, I'd dabbled a little but generally avoided it as much as I could. My page was pathetic and saw little activity from me. I just didn't have the time or interest to be honest. My business was plodding along relying on my website and word of mouth to generate business. I kept telling myself that this​ was fine and that things would pick up soon, which of course they didn't, and on I went. This made me feel pretty low and isolated at times, especially when I saw colleagues posting interesting posts on their FB pages ALL the time!! My confidence and motivation was taking a negative hit. And then I met Polly! :-) Immediately I felt massive support and encouragement from Polly and her enthusiasm to get things moving was contagious ! Within literally days my FB page was revamped to a very professional level and various interesting posts appeared attracting lots of new followers. Better still, this was all done behind the scenes by Polly not me! Suddenly my confidence lifted and my drive was back! Friends and colleagues started complimenting me on my amazing FB activity, they were truly impressed which made me feel great. This inspired me to raise my game and now I cannot wait to check my page, put up new posts and even make video clips! New enquiries are starting to come in and I'm busier and more importantly, happier than I've been in a very long time, years in fact! Polly takes the stress out of the media side by getting this off the ground and managing it for me. This allows me to focus on my actual work, which is just as well now! Polly is also great at suggesting new and exciting ideas of how to create further interest and business and is fun to work with. She knows exactly which areas to target to how. So, for those like me just plodding along, give her a call and get that buzz, motivation and success back into your work life! Polly has just set me up on instagram too so we are full steam ahead working as a team with plenty more ideas in the pipeline including weekly video interviews. Marketing Madness have been doing my online and digital marketing for the last 3 months. I turned to them because I was lacking inspiration and time to do posts on all of my social media platforms and I wasn't sure if what I was doing was the right kind of stuff to benefit my business. The biggest impact I have seen so far is the increase in my lead generation, through improving my brand awareness. My Facebook and Instagram engagement has increased, as have my followers.
