We had a Lego party for my daughters 6th birthday. Academy of Fun were brilliant especially as the party was quite large with 40 children. Absolutely awesome team! So happy I found and booked Kate and co! Worth every penny! Love the spiderman / robber storyline both of my sons are still talking about it. Thank you Academy of Fun for the amazing Lego party! My son had a brilliant 8th birthday and all his friends were entertained for the full 2 hours. Thomas chose the fairground workshop and they had great fun building the ferris wheel as a team and then all the other rides. The Lego themed games were full of energy and team work and let the children burn off some energy after their party food. I would definitely recommend this party for any boy or girl who loves lego! Fabulous Lego party yesterday for my sons 7th birthday! Kate and Hollie kept 14 boys totally engrossed in Lego building and crazy Lego themed games which the children loved! We had Kate from academy of fun come into our royal wedding session on Wednesday and do a music session with the children and I can honestly say it was completely different to what I was expecting but it was absolutely amazing! The kids loved it and our parents and staff here at tiddlywinks thought it was fantastic too :) it was such good fun. Kate was so good with the children and they really connected with her and kept interest through the session. Academy of Fun are Absolutely Fantastic! My son had a Superhero Adventure Party for his 5th Birthday - Kate and her team were amazing! My son had never had a birthday party and I was a bit wary about doing one with a group of energetic 4/5 year olds especially after having attended several parties for his friends - I had to asked Kate if she was sure she'd keep them all engaged and not running riot I need not have worried! My son loved it, his friends loved it - we even ended up with his friends siblings joining in, both older and younger. I've had several parents since message me to tell me how much fun their child had - I'm definitely glad I called in the pros and wouldn't hesitate to do it again Thank you so much!!! More...

We've had 2 lego parties with Academy of Fun for our children and they were both fantastic.

For Holly's 7th birthday party Kate and Vic did a lego zoo party and the children built several animals with the guidance of Kate and then used their imaginations to build all kinds of creatures and buildings for their zoo.

For Harrison's 9th birthday party they did a lego funfair themed party where the children built a working ferris wheel as well as dodgems, candy floss stalls, and even toilets!!
The games were really good fun and all the children really enjoyed themselves.

I would definitely recommend Academy of Fun for anyone with children who love lego. Kate and Vic are brilliant with the kids and they also provide fantastic party bags should you need them More...

We booked a Legotastic party for our twins 6th birthday. Kate and her team were fantastic - they kept 38 children entertained for 2 hours. I was a bit nervous that sitting down and playing with Lego wouldn't be entertaining enough but needen't have worried. After the building section there were lots of high energy team games. All the children (and the parents) seemed to be very happy - one even said 'it was the best party he'd ever been to' and my two were delighted. I booked after we'd attended a friends SuperHero party, which was also brilliant. We booked a super hero party for my son's 5th birthday party. They were responsive in the build up and they arrived on time with plenty of time to set up. We had the burglar which hangs around outside in the build up which got the kids in a frenzy (in a good way). Then the Super Hero training and other games kept them super excited, Batman arrived and they were loving it, my 8yr old daughter was loving it too. Batman sat with the kids when they ate and really indulged them answering all sorts of questions with wavering from character at all, I really appreciated this extra effort at the meal time. The rest of the party went down a storm too. The kids absolutely loved it, the parents did too and the feedback the next day in the school car park was brilliant.. A massive double thumbs up from everyone here, couldn't be happier.. I asked my son Tom what he thought about it.. "I didn't like it Dad, I LOVED it!!" he said. A job well done guys!! More...

I hired Academy of Fun for my son's Lego-themed birthday party yesterday - and would not hesitate to recommend this company to other parents. Kate and Dan arrived promptly, set up quickly and brought along a host of extras for which I was immensely grateful: from the stereo system to the boxes of Duplo for party attendees' younger siblings. The children all had a wonderful time; Kate and Dan were both great with them. I have already had lots of positive feedback from parents. I would also recommend the party bags: each one came with a photo of the birthday boy and his 21 friends around the birthday. How AoF had time to print off all the photos and add them to the bags in the 40 minutes between the camera shot and the end of the party, I still have no idea! Kate and her team exceeded my expectations last weekend when they organised and led a Lego birthday party/workshop for 44 three to five year old children! As a teacher, I was very impressed by their ability to take control of the entire group for two hours--and with such enthusiasm! Every child got "stuck in" which amazed me. A member of staff went out of his way to slowly engage any unsure or timid child, and was successful every time. What fun everyone had--parents even joined in! Other parents were just as impressed with the Lego building and party games, noting how FUN the event was. They are still coming up to me, noting how fantastic it was, which was completely down to Kate and her team! The Academy of Fun's website does not do them justice. Thank you for an awesome 'bake off' birthday party for our daughter. The party was brilliant - the girls loved it! We've had a load of comments about how much fun they had and also how well organised it was. A huge amount packed into 2 hours.

Sam had the most brilliant time at the party and has quoted all day how 'this has been the best birthday party ever'. The team were absolutely amazing, so professional from the moment they turned up until the end of the party and so, so much fun. We went for the Batman and robber theme party. BatDan was unbelievable, really fantastic - to be able to engage 30 odd 4-5 years for 2 hours (including some parents !) was brilliant to watch. The team didn't stop from the moment they arrived and Batman even continued to chat the kids during the food break. Sam is still talking now about helping Batman as he had to go and catch naughty Joker in Gotham City and seeing all the kid's and parents faces when they saw the cake was missing was hilarious. Really, really pleased we choose Academy of Fun to entertain Sam and his friends at his 5th birthday party and this was no mean feat as he has been taking about this party for approximately 365 days . . . . I booked 'Academy of Fun' for my sons party on the basis of the reviews on the website. I am so pleased. My son had the most amazing 'Superhero' birthday party last Saturday.

The team were fantastic, and thoroughly entertained the children the whole time. Everyone (including the parents) enjoyed the fun being had. I only have praise. The one hiccup was that I bought 'sparklers' and not candles for the cake. Bad idea, they extinguished before my son could blow out the candles. His face looked so sad, so 'Academy of fun' saved the day and went and found a candle in their kit (I did not ask them to, they just did this), so we were able to light the candle, and my son was happy that he could blow out a candle. Thank you academy of fun for attending the British Grand Prix this weekend I don't know what I'd have done without you there. A young girl called Kate was amazing with my toddler along with Dan. They played parachute games to suit my demanding daughter (leg and a wing and ring a roses), did super hero training (adapted to suit her age/ability), music singing and hide and seek. Ella had the guys about all over the place and her demands of "again again" were met and they never lost their enthusiasm. Thank you so much all of you Ella had an amazing time.
Kate I love the aim of your company to make sport fun and use it to promote good mental health within schools. If you ever want to grow the business I'd certainly love to see you in the midlands. I'm sure Ella would love a future birthday party with your team. I can't thank you enough and I hope we see you all back at the British Grand Prix next year! More...

Kate and her team have been providing awesome Lego sessions at our Youth Centre for the past 6 months or so and they have been fantastic. They always deliver something different, my favourites have included the Fairground, Christmas decorations and the Zoo Time sessions. Its been great for children of all abilities to play together doing something they love. Academy of Fun add that little bit extra to our already jam packed sessions and they are always well attended.
