I have been going to Tyler at IPA for over a year now and love it! He keeps my workouts fresh by mixing in new material(kettle bells, barbells, bands etc. ). I see him twice a week and am very pleased with the results I am seeing. He keeps me accountable while I am at the gym with him and outside the gym as well. Excellent all around. I work with Tyler and he's very enthusiastic and encouraging. He listens to all my concerns and doesn't mind explaining things a few times. BANG!! Indy Performance Authority is awesome. Dan & Tyler are exactly what you want in a trainer. They are going to make you hate them because they make you work hard & hold you accountable. But, they are going to be like your best friend too, because they are personally invested in you and the results you achieve. My husband and I have been training with Tyler for over two years now.  We originally began with IPA to get into shape for our wedding, but we were so thrilled seeing the results of our hard work pay off, we still continue to work out twice a week with Tyler.  Tyler will make you work hard, but the results are definitely worth it.  He is easy to talk with and makes the hour fly by.  Tyler goes above and beyond for his clients, whether it be to customize workouts for vacations or to rearrange appointment times to best fit your schedule.  Although we have never trained with Dan, I'd feel confident working with him in the event Tyler was unavailable.  Dan and Tyler are very competent and genuinely work in the best interests of their clients. I loved my experience at this gym. Dan is an excellent trainer and worked with me to set and achieve measurable and reasonable fitness goals. He was very flexible and always went out of his way to fit me into sessions that worked with my busy schedule. He documents your measurements from day one so that you have a good sense of your progress as you go along. I found each session to be very productive and rigorous, and Dan gave very helpful and detailed critiques of my form so that I could improve and perform the heavy lifts safely. Indy Performance Authority is a great place to train and get in shape. Tyler and Dan know what they are doing and strive to keep it fun and interesting. My husband and I started working out with Tyler in August 2016. I had never worked out with a trainer and was always afraid to try. No way would my overweight, out of shape, middle-aged body be able to keep up! However, Tyler tailored the workouts to our abilities so I never felt like I was lagging behind. I started noticing a difference in my energy levels and abilities within the first few weeks. I began taking the stairs more, walking at lunch, swimming, and riding my bike again (after rarely doing much besides yoga for over 10 years). In fact, I did my first bike commute to work (22 miles round trip) six weeks after I started working out. I am happy to report that we have both lost weight (65 pounds for me and 15 for the hubby). In addition, Tyler's workouts are building muscle, improving our strength and coordination, and increasing our stamina. We love that the trainers customize the workouts to the individual and their outside interests (swimming, biking, and hiking in our case). We are currently working on power lifting which is a lot of fun. I am going to try my hand at stand up paddle boarding in a couple months when we go on vacation. An activity I thought was out of my reach. I no longer think anything is out of my reach if I try hard enough. I went to IPA to be "skinny" whatever I thought that meant at the time. Not caring how or what I had to do to get there. Over the past 4 months working with Tyler I have shifted the way I look at my body. With his help I have learned to focus on becoming stronger and healthier as a whole. In turn over the past 4 months I have lost 5% body fat, 5 pounds and a total of 6 inches. I am transitioning to online training with Tyler and look forward to continuing to build a stronger, healthier and happy me! More...

I have been going to IPA for nearly 6 months now and have had a great experience!  I train with Dan and also attend the weekly bootcamp sessions on Thursday evenings at 6pm.  The training is personalized and effective.  I always get a great workout and have seen measurable improvements in my fitness.  The bootcamp class is usually 6-10 people and is a fun way to get in a tough workout! I have been working out at IPA with Tyler for over 7 months now.  Tyler is very patient with my orneriness (especially during 6 am workouts).  Before our January wedding, my husband and I spent a lot of time training with Tyler so we could look our best on our big day.  The workouts also helped me manage the stress of planning a wedding. I originally wrote a review after being a client of Tyler Kiel's for less than a month. I was thrilled with my results at that point and now that I have been a client for 8 months I am even happier. I have lost total of 88 lbs to date (only 34 more to go in order to get to my goal weight). I train with Tyler twice a week and I attend their Total Knockout Bootcamp every Thursday. From my very first workout, he knew exactly how to motivate me and when to push me. Every time I go there I realize that I can do so much more than I ever thought possible. Tyler is great at helping me focus on my potential without getting lost in negative thoughts that sometimes creep into my head. After spending 8 months with Tyler I'm MUCH better at celebrating small victories and milestones.  I know that with the help of Tyler I will not have a problem reaching my ultimate goals by August 2015. This place is amazing. Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or have already been working out for years. I pride myself on being an athlete and Dan and Tyler will take you to that next level! They will push hard, but are also really fun guys to workout with. If you start training with them, you are gonna feel great and look good! I definitely recommend IPA. The equipment is all very new and the variety of workouts is endless. You will not get bored!
