Indian cuisine with options of fusion
Best Indian food ever
My favorite Indian buffet in the area
Buffet is great with so much variety of North Indian food. They serve smoking tantoori chicken at your table, as well naan. Desert was great too. Service is exceptional! More...
Great traditional food made perfect to order.
Favorite place for Indian food
Nice restaurant. Every dishes served give you a taste from India.
This place has good food but only if you order food from menu. They have a buffet too but I had a terrible experience with that. You can also order food from Bombay chopsticks and I recommend that to mix it up a little. More...
Absolutely the best Indian food and banquets in the Chicagoland area. I have attended an event in the banquet area, and both the service and the food were out of this world. This place is truly 5-star quality. The food at the next door restaurant they own, Bombay Chopstix, is incredible I recommend the buffet. More...
Food was tasty. Some non veg Curry's were not refilled correct. Hence the 4 star.
Good Indian and Pakistani food!
Went for a Sunday Buffet. Naan bread and Gravy was good. Jamun was good. Everything else was sub-par.
Love the lunch Buffett. No one can beat this variety and taste in the area.
The best indian restaurant in USA.
ABIT expensive, get coupon from Groupon to save money
Good food for reasonable prices for lunch. We enjoyed it.
Stopped by for the lunch buffet and was was impressed at the fresh table-side served naan and tandoori chicken. Main buffet entrees have a nice selection of curries and standard fare. I wish there was some more selection in the proteins, although the chicken makhani was very good! More...
Conveniently located, reasonably priced and good food!
Delicious Indian buffet. The buffet is only in afternoons so plan accordingly.
Nice service fantastic food great service nice location friendly people
The food was flavorful and the service was also very friendly here. We will be back as we enjoyed the ambiance and the butter chicken with garlic naan. Chicken tikka and veggie dishes were also tantalizing. Mango lassi is a must try when you visit. More...
We ordered food from India house for a birthday party. We had not been to India house for years because quality of food had declined and better options were available. However India house seems like they have improved their food. Great paneer mahkhani and probably the best baingan Bharata ever had. Nicholas(spelling) was very helpful. More...
Good service always
Arshiya Sana Hussain
The weekend lunch buffet it solid with a quite a large variety of choices for the price point. They even have a “chaat bar” with pani pury etc which is nice. I am a zabiha halal eater so I really question their claim that the place is halal. More...
Authentic Indian Cuisine. The taste & quality of food is simply awesome .Very cozy place with nice ambiance & service.
Great food and good service!
Aw the food was amazing on my visit there!!!
Good. But chaat items are no longer made properly. We had to make our own. "I thought why I have go to a restaurant and make the food" !
Had buffet. Quite a variety. Very tasty Indian food. Desert was just ok
Good indian food with wide range of variety. I liked south Indian items soda and idaly . Pani puri is also another option to try . desserts are very limited though.
Great authentic food.
Their lunch buffet is great! Really nice selection of dishes at a very reasonable price.
The Viking Runesmythe
Great food, great service.
Good food, reasonable prices.
It’s a really good place, the services is excelent, They are very friendly and the food has a very good taste! If you want to try something different, this is a recommended place.
Good good, but please try to keep your profit margins little low so everyone can enjoy.
Great authentic Indian food, great service, nice aura
The services overall are pretty good. Food arrives fast, tables weren't a problem, and paying was quick too. They accept Groupon coupons. As per food, don't try the lacha parantha. It is absolutely tasteless and barely has layers. Complete disaster. The crunchy pasta is really boiled pasta, with some spice on it. It is super crunchy, but with the cheese dip it tastes better. The mirch la salan is extremely good. Paneer makhani tastes great. Good drinks as well. Peaceful music makes for a nice dinner. Great restaurant, definitely would come back. I would give 5 stars if food was better. More...
The food was delicious, the service was great, and the restaurant was modern.
Good food, nice atmosphere, service was great.
Yummy Indian delicacies served with grace!
Really massive buffet selection on the weekends. food is okay for the price.. the selection beats the quality here
I crave for indian-Chinese food in my city and hence whenever I am in Hoffman I try to visit this place, not the best but does satisfy my cravings for a good chilly paneer or Hunan chicken... a little pricey but worth visiting at least once... More...
Delicius Indian taste...specially good about north Indian dishes I like the most in Chicago area
Not a lot to chose from. Spicy food but good
Warm welcome, good taste of every item we ordered, nice service.happy with india house visit.
Loved this restaurant and its items. Completely matches the taste of food we expect and we want. Made me remember India. My suggestion is to try at least once... and you'll want to go there everytime. More...
India House always has a good variety of food for their lunch buffet. And of course for anyone who is a vegetarian your choices are pretty good.
Really good food and ambience
Good food. A little on the expensive side for lunch buffet about $17 a person after tax and tip.
Good indian food .
Chaya S.I. Davis
Amazing food! We go for the buffet as there is more variety than ordering off the menu.
Wende Fisher Dau
Love their lunch buffet. Chicken Tikka Masala is a favorite and I can always find at least two or three other dishes from their buffet. The mint lemonade is a must.
Went on a Saturday night around 630. Place looked very clean and modern. Dinner was excellent and so was the service. Will definitely be coming back here.
Best Indian food in the NW suburbs of Chicago.
Good place! Good food!
Good Indianised Chinese cuisine.
Lunch buffet is awesome and too many varieties. Reasonable price. 13 bucks for Sunday lunch and 11 for weekdays.
For not being familiar with Indian cuisine, thier lunch buffet offers a great variety of foods for a novice like myself. Not trying to sound racist but I see a lot of Indian people come here, for this I believe the food is authentic. My family loves it here! More...
Food is not that great. Prices are on higher side
Good food ... lunch buffet is super nice
Nice indian food. Nice ambience.
Really liked the Sunday buffet, what seemed to be authentic South Indian food. My husband especially liked the level of spiciness. Great many choices and selections. Packed with Indian people which is a great sign of approval, and attests to it's authenticity. Good location, close to highways. I liked the fact that you can grab your own bottled water, whenever you want - that's a really great idea! Will be back for sure! More...
Buffet has great selection! Waiters also bring chicken to your table. Finish with interesting desserts and fresh fruit!
Great authentic fresh food
Gr8 food if the price seems to be reasonable to one
I would like to rate 6 star foods are very good friendly staff
Okay food and great ambience. Drinks not that great. Service is great.
I always want to go back here!
Clean bar with Indian beers
Exelent lunch buffet
Service was great , but I never ate Indian food before I had a hard time understanding what was what no description was on food tags
Great place for very tasty food. Great customer service. Variety of food is amazing.
The most delicious food I eat so far. Nice staff as well
Great weekend buffet! No one can beat this place with number of dishes served for the buffet. Love the little chat bar (golgappas, bhel puri etc). The curries are less spicy for my taste. More...
One of the better Indian restaurants in the chicago land area. Professionally run with good selection on the menu. The food is good as well.
Always a great buffet, especially varied this last visit. We've been going for years and the service is excellent
Good buffet. Had better indian food.
A very impressive Indian restaurant but an even better catering service. I've used them many times in the past but I had to rely on them heavily during my wedding and reception. All of my guests raved about the variety and the flavor. They also did a great job with the indochinese dishes peppered in More...
Food is always amazing and so is the service
We had here a lot time... it's nice place. Awesome service and of course delisious food.
Food as well prepared. Service was fair. Atmosphere was pleasant.
The good is great, and the naan is the best around. That said, the service can leave much to be desired if you are trying to get in and out at lunch time.
Everything is fine here but Yogart / Lassi. Tried twice, always so sour. There is something wrong with the process. But yes, I do admit that their chicken is fresh. We tried Lahsuni Chicken & Achari Chicken. So awsome!!!!!Great quality with reasonably good price and ofcourse nice quantity. More...
We went for lunch and they had many vegetarians items. Everything was delicious
Nice indian food. Pleasant ambience for family dinner.
The atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious, one dish is plenty to feed 2 people. The service was alright. I felt like an inconvenience at first. Other servers started coming to us too which made me feel more welcome. The manager was great, very polite. I'd like to go again and try more dishes. The naan was phenomenal. More...
Buena comida y exelente servicio
This is far the best Indian food I have had after a long time. I am giving 5 stars for the food service and ambience. I happened to be here last week with my friends for dinner and everything we ordered was so good and the spices well mixed to perfection. Our server was very helpful to suggest some delicacy like Lamb Shank and Tandoori Promphet. All in all worth every penny we spent. We will be definetely back. And I highly recommend this place if you guys want to really enjoy some Indian food. More...
Yeah...this is my favorite Indian food buffet in the area. Always a nice selection. Always fresh and great service. We come for the lunch buffet quite regularly.
Very good service, great food and beautiful ambiance.
One of the best restaurant I ever been,From manager to staff are all very polite and respectful , Food is 110% delicious , I am from NEWYORK but whenever I came back to Chicago "INDIAN HOUSE RESTAURANT "IS ALWAYS my place
Incredible, incredible buffet every single day of the week! I used to go to Gaylord in Schaumburg for their buffet and just assumed I had to lower my expectations for buffets: cheapest options on the menu, no variety, none of the favorite standards everyone goes to an Indian restaurant for. India House does not skimp on quality or just throw down whatever they have extra of in the back. High quality, ridiculously yummy, vegan friendly... I went three times (ok, I think four) in the first week. So good it made me write my first review ever on Google. Can't believe it doesn't have 5 star rating already. Go, treat yourself! More...
Great food, with amazing customer service
Best Indian eatery I have ever been to in USA. Very costly yet justified, despite all the trouble. Uncommonly naan is delicate and it feels new.
The buffet has some nice collection over the weekend. But weekdays it's like any other buffet restaurant. Nothing great.
One of the best Indian resturants I have ate.
I have eaten at several Indian restaurants and India House is by far the best. We ordered several dishes and ate family style. The Chicken Kebabs were an excellent appetizer along with the Strawberry Delight cocktail. We also had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Korma, Fish Curry, and garlic naan. Everything was amazing. The service was great as well. Nicholas, the manager, made us feel right at home and all of the servers were courteous and efficient. If you like Indian food, I strongly recommend you visit India House. You won't be disappointed. More...
Food was delicious, service is good too...friendly staff...
Had a greatttt food after a long time
The menu is massive, and I've yet to be disappointed whenever I've gone. The food is full of flavor, from the vindaloo to the paneer to the hyderabadi to the byriani to the old standard chicken Tikka masala. One of the best Indian restaurants in the Midwest, and it far exceeds the expectations set from its unassuming name. More...
Great lunch buffet

I love this place! The paneer is really good. The staff is very kind.
Beat place if you like gol gappas in weekend included in lunch buffet
Buffet is better than few other nearby restaurants.
Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to in USA. Quite expensive but worth it. Specially naan is very soft and it feels fresh.
Their lunch buffet has a large selection of some really great food.
Pros: Good food and ambience. Cons: Costlier than expected. Baseline: Worth trying out.
Consistently good Indian food. Good spread on the weekends
Good restaurant and service. Have been there several times.
Always had best experience. Best Indian food so far..
Bree Reyes Miller
Go there for lunch buffet, it's always great!
Decent food. Deserts are good.
Best Indian buffet in northwest burbs.
We always loved this place for the variety of food and deserts. Clean and well maintained dining and restrooms
The food authentic and tasty... from a spicy-heat level, it is important to note that they cook the lunch buffet at a mild. However, our dinner was definitely much hotter. I would recommend if you can't handle a lot of hear to make sure you request mild during the dinner hours no matter what you are ordering... the heat was pretty intense in the samosas. More...
This place popped my Indian food cherry and I'm so thankful. The buffet is unbelievably good for 15 bucks. The butter chicken can make a grown man cry.

My neighbor introduced me to India House and then I went on my own. They made dishes customized to exclude ingredients I have a food sensitivity to.When I came on my own with family, the waiter was willing to find out specific details about the food ingredients (such as whether it was cooked in soybean oil). That eliminated almost all the foods on the menu for me. So, I ordered the Saffron Rice. It was the most delicious rice I have tasted. I brought it home to share with my beagle puppy, who also loved it.For me, the food and dining experience is worth the extra money. More...

Better than other options in the chicago burbs.
Awesome variety and taste.
My first visit here and if ever back in the area I will definitely return. The food was excellent and the service delightful. I don't eat spicy food and this had just the right amount of spice to allow the flavor to rise to the occasion. More...
The staff was very nice and helpful. There was a lady behind us that was very very rude and the waiter handled her with ease even though she sent her food back 4 times. During the whole situation he still kept up with our table. I would strongly recommend this to someone who likes traditional Indian food. More...
This is undoubtedly the best indian food in nearby area! The food options in lunch buffet are great and server all kind of crowd. The highlight is the deserts choices.Price wise this is bit expensive than others in area but is totally worth it. More...
