Best yoga studio in London. If you're looking to grow your practice with some of the best teachers, this is your place!

I booked a class here as I was in between meetings in a new part of town. The studio is lovely, providing free lockers and showers and generally beautiful. The class was a Vinyasa flow focussed on forearm stands (pincha), which I'd never done before, and the instructor was really fantastic. However, I think the studio had just had a hot yoga session so it was quite stuffy and I was so sweaty I kept slipping on my mat - some ventilation would have helped. More...

I went to a Jivamukti class here on a Friday afternoon. Please be aware Jivamukti is NOT for beginners! You will be attempting handstands, inversions, fast paced vinyasa - you will be sweating and expected to know the names of the moves by cue! I actually really enjoyed it but being a massive bottle of water! Facilities are clean, staff are nice, has a little snack/drink shop and it’s a lovely studio. More...

Favourite yoga studio in London with the best teachers. I have been attending classes here for the last 5-6 years. Look no further.

This is my favorite go-to yoga studio when I visit London. They have such a huge variety of AWESOME yoga classes that are a beautiful blend of modern and traditional. The teachers I have had the pleasure of taking class with were super knowledgeable, attentive, hands-on and kind humans. I also love the people at the front desk. The gentleman I had the blessing of interacting with (I didn’t catch his name) just made checking in delightful , and as someone from another country who comes here when I visit- I always feel right at home. These are some of the best teachers in the world! I specially love Stew and Leon. More...

Friendliest, warmest hearted and (perhaps) the best teachers in London. Charlie Merton’s Yin is sublime, Simon’s Iyengar for technique . .. there’s a class for everyone here. The beautiful peeps who run the place are hidden heroes who make my day better whenever I walk in. Adore this place More...

I started going to Indaba in 2012. I used to go almost daily. Very much enjoyed how you can just step out of the noise when you walk in to this studio. I still go to yoga there and perhaps not as often but I still love it. More...

This is a proper yoga studio they have the best classes available for true yogis! I've been coming here for 3 years and still am not part of the cool kids club. I do enjoy the yoga practice itself and the front desk does not impact the love I have for the teachers that teach there. Thank you for being one of the best studios I've ever been to. Check it out if you want a real work out. More...

Lovely yoga studio, well equipped and with natural light in both studios (enough of the basements lol). I have tried most classes and never been disappointed with any teacher - they are all absolutely amazing under every point of view. I haven't had the chance to test the treatments there but know people who have and they said they're also top. More...

I was entirely new to yoga when I started at Indaba a few months ago, and I've been very pleased with the studio.  It's incredibly clean with an airy, comfortable vibe.  There's a big variety of classes and the rates are in-line, or even slightly cheaper than, other studios that I've seen in the area.  All-in-all, it's been a great place to start practicing yoga, and I always feel much more at ease after class.Highly recommend the beginner's ashtanga classes if you're brand-new like I was.My one lost star reflects that they don't seem to cap the classes, so occasionally the classes are somewhat overly packed, which can be a bit frustrating for a beginner. For those 10 years of practising yoga, I've tried a lot of different classes, styles. levels and studios.Indaba has been the best. It is a modern, vibrant and super clean studio with American service - next to everything is possible - smile, good mood, enthusiasm about yoga and communication with people. Yet the attention to detail is impeccable. The dedication to make Indaba perfect is visible - flowers, insence, candles, warm tea and banal things such as toilet paper, tissues and organic shampoos and conditioners are ALWAYS fully stocked. Quite frankly, nothing can even remotely compare.. I do love the range of different styles, levels and times. I have not experiences a single bad or boring class. In my opinion, it's one and only studio in London where I don't yarn over the time table.. There are always new classes and improvements. I will always love coming back.Oh, I've almost forgotten to mention the therapies... They are heavenly! More...

Indaba is a warm and inviting studio that ultimately hooked me in as a member, and here's why: Facilities: private showers, CLEAN mats for free ( never been to a studio that cleans the mats after every class and doesn't charge), loads of props, beautiful hardwoods and natural light. Community: the front desk will greet you, often by name, with a smile. Most of the other yogis are incredibly respectful and friendly. Indaba has free tea by the front desk, further welcoming practicers to sit, chat, and become more than just a face in a yoga class. Classes/ instructors: even if indaba didn't have the beautiful facility and welcoming community, I'd STILL recommend it because of the incredibly knowledgeable and inspiring teachers. My practice of 7 years has become so much stronger in the short month I've been practicing there. Go with the mindset of a beginner, no matter if you can do a handstand in your sleep, because your practice is going to grow immensely. If your a vinyasa lova or cardio addict, go to a yogasana class and prepare to sweat. You'll kiss running/ spin classes goodbye! If you feel stagnant in your practice, go to a dharma mitra class, but be warned, it's not for beginners. There are beginner classes as well that I recommend to those new to yoga. More...

Forget for a moment that this is a yoga studio.  As a business, the place is magnificently clean, modern, inviting, warm and the workers there are genuine and friendly. Now throw in the large variety of classes, every day of the week, covering a bunch of different styles of movement, including pilates.I'm pretty much a newbie but have taken yoga classes in other areas (Santa Monica, New York, etc) and this is the nicest place I've been in terms of venue and people.  And as a newbie I've only felt welcomed and encouraged. If you are more advanced, check out the teacher BIos... this place is loaded with talent. For everyone else, if you are considering yoga as a lifestyle shift or merely a weekly activity, then Indaba should be on your short list of places to consider. More...

When I moved to London in January and was looking for a yoga studio, I dropped into Indaba first because of its proximity to Marylebone Station, close to where I work. Four months later, I've yet to make it to another studio because I'm so enamored with Indaba!I've practiced at a lot of studios over the years, and Indaba has that rare yoga mix of gorgeous facilities, a warm and welcoming staff and clientele, and skilled instructors who are allowed to teach to their expertise and style without having to stick to a corporate-sanctioned flow sequence. Classes aren't cheap (it is London, after all), but they're reasonable at the student rates, and given the intensity of the classes (they're tough! but in a good way) and the hands-on adjustments and personal attention, it's a good bang for your buck (or pound, I guess). Can't speak to all the classes of course, but I'm a big fan of the lunchtime hot power hour and the weekend yogasana classes. There are other, smaller things I appreciate as well. The changing rooms have free lockers that actually lock, immaculate showers, and while there is a retail section, I don't feel like products (or workshops or retreats) are ever being pushed at me. Finally, it just feels like a non-judgmental space, which is easier said than done at a lot of yoga studios. You know how sometimes you just walk into a place and immediately think, "oh god, I'm wearing last year's lululemon and everybody knows?!" None of that here. I'm leaving London soon and already missing Indaba because I'm yet to find a studio in the States that just seems to work so well. More...

I was traveling through London and popped into Indaba for a class.  The staff is very friendly, the facility itself is gorgeous and includes a very clean changing room with showers and lockers. I enjoyed the class very much - I even had sore legs the next day which doesn't happened to me often anymore! I highly recommend this place! More...
