I’d been on holiday to Malta and Spain the 2 weeks previous and didn’t look after my skin when I was out there so it was dry and looked like orange peel! ! Having suffered a stroke in my right frontal lobe 2 years ago. It has left me with paralysis on my left side. Having lots of physio and home exercises the left side of my face is still dropped and I have little or no feeling in some areas. I had no expectations when Rachel offered a free 15 minute session specifically targeting the left side of my face. I have always wanted to have my ‘normal’ smile back. After 15 minutes, ( lots of thoughts running through my mind while I was having the treatment, feeling very emotional) I sat up and Rachel took the same photo shoot, after lots of tears ( happiness I can assure you) the results were amazing. I’ve been going to Rachel for just over a year now, Rachel is a lovely woman who instantly puts you at ease, I’ve had treatments on my stomach area mainly to reduce the fatty pouch I have been left with after my c section - I noticed a difference after the first session. . but now after a good 8 sessions on that area the difference is unreal, I was close to considering a tummy tuck to get rid of my “problem area” as I was so self conscious wearing swim wear, tight jeans/trousers etc but not no more. What do you love most about your job?
Watching the clients transformations. It's when they realise they have had a permanent result. I take a before the treatment measurement and photo. After the treatment, and the after photo and put the two side by side and show the client.
The results are life changing for some. I have reduced the body fat % which improves the HEALTH, and I change the shape of your BODY in the treated area and this improves the clients confidence and their MIND.
I also have a Specialist Services section on my website. I have reduced side affects for stroke patients, cancer side affects, breast cancer scarring and surgical scarring. This also lifts a clients confidence.
I love my job.
I'm passionate about what I can do for people. Oh, and those are free.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had surgical liposuction many years ago and I had an horrific 6 months recovery from it. I have an invisible disability and I could only work from home.
So I adapted my dining room and researched my options. After extensive research I found non-surgical liposuction and skin tightening treatments. My immediate thought was 'that's too good to be true'. So I researched and researched it. It is medically approved and positive clinical trials so I invested. I bought my machinery and trained, then qualified and opened my business to the general public on Jan 9th 2017.
In two years I have had clients who shared tears of joy, sadness and told me confidential things they've never told anyone and have taken stress off their shoulders too but it's all part 8f the service.. Did I mention, I love my job.
