Jimmy and his team are nothing short of THE BEST you can find! We had our wedding on 6/3, everything went flawlessly. The food was amazing, we are still getting lots of compliments from our guests. Jimmy has been a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. We planned our wedding ourselves, Jimmy supported all of our ideas and remembered every little detail. On the day of, we had a few things that we ran out of time for, Jimmy and his staff finished placing the rest of our decorations and everything was perfect! I recently had the pleasure of using this phenomenal catering company for my son's Communion at the Art Factory. Their food was not only very good, but also incredibly creative. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted divine. They took care of every little detail before and during the event, and I couldn't have been happier with their service. The feedback from our guests has been incredibly positive and on behalf of Katie, myself and Two River Theater we greatly appreciate all of your hard work in creating a memorable event. Tammie, Richard, and John were excellent captains and were very responsive to my concerns and instructions. Overall, incredibly friendly staff both in the kitchen and FOH. The cocktail hour appetizers were delicious. Personal favorite was the mushroom tart. Dinner went out in a timely manner and looked good. In Thyme has been the only caterer I have used in 10 years. I use them for all of my work events which range from 10-1400 people and all of my personal events. The entire team is absolutely amazing. We used In Thyme Catering for all of our catering needs for our daughter's Bat-Mitzvah. James Gutentag and his team were pure professionals from the get go. Not only did they help coordinate with our party planner but their insight and knowledge in helping incorporate the menus and serving stations were exactly on point for the theme we had envisioned. Highly recommend!! In Thyme catered our wedding in September 2022 and did a fantastic job. From the beginning to the end of the process Jimmy and his team were professional and easy to work with. On the wedding day, his staff took care of everything and even took the time to bring my wife and I some appetizers to eat in between taking our photos! They also prepared dinner plates for us so we had a chance to taste all of the delicious food (thanks to Tammy!). Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so much for all your hard work in preparation of my daughter's wedding this past Saturday at Belvedere. The food was exemplary and plentiful and the wait staff was phenomenal. Frank and Kathy were the best and took care of everyone's needs. The flow of the event was perfect! Many of the guests commented on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff was. They loved the entire vibe of the tent and the mansion itself. In the planning stages of this wedding, I was a bit skeptical about everything from the tent set up, whether there would be enough food, and whether or not the evening would flow nicely. In Thyme in NJ is simply amazing! It’s very clean, staff is always friendly and service is quick. Just wanted to take a moment to thank you AJ and his wonderful staff at In Thyme for coming through yet again and making my daughter's graduation party this past Saturday (8/6) such a HUGE success. We got incredibly lucky with the weather, which stayed perfectly sunny all day despite forecasts for 60% chance of thunderstorms. The tent we rented was perfect as it kept my guests shaded and comfortable despite the heat. The food was magnificent, from the passed appetizers (SO many fantastic choices - we were all full before the main meal got underway!!) to the delicious meal (again, something for EVERYONE) and of course the dessert (I am still dreaming about those warm cookie cups!! RIDICULOUS!!!) Most importantly, besides the food (that is ALWAYS unmatched) your staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, courteous and professional. From top to bottom, Sandy ran a fantastic event, all the way to the servers and the bartender Andrea who took special care of all my guests. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I called with less than a month left before my wedding, and Jimmy Gutentag not only made it work, but gave us the catering of our dreams! I contacted In Thyme to cater our DIY Wedding. From the moment we got a quote from them until the end of the wedding, they were absolutely fantastic. I was able to work with Jimmy, who is AMAZING. He really knows the catering/event planning business and was able to provide so much input to me about the flow of events. Since we were doing this ourselves, his insight was a lifesaver and was so easy to work with. He was always willing to jump on a call with me to talk things out and make me feel at ease. He did an amazing job preparing for the wedding and the day went off without an issue. On the day of the wedding, our day of coordinator, was Frank. I cannot say enough amazing things about this guy. Not only was he in charge of the food side of things, but he ran the whole show. He did not miss a single thing. I would be on the dance floor and the next thing I knew he was giving me a bottle of water to make sure I was staying hydrated. The entire In Thyme staff was friendly and professional. In Thyme Catering was recommended to me by two venues, neither of which we used. I am foreever thankful for the recommendation, though! From our first conversation to the very end, Jimmy Gutentag was nothing but extraordinariy professional, responsive and creative. The wedding was truly everything we hoped for. Jimmy was there from morning until the last guests left that night, always checking in with the other vendors, his own staff, and our "day of wedding" planner. He developed a great working relationship with Joseph Gerish, the owner/manager of the venue, Born to Run Farm, which was incredibly helpful to my daughter and me. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Our many guests commented on the incredible spread created for the cocktail hour, and the dinner itself received nothing but rave reviews. Guests were thrilled with the quality of the food and the beautiful presentation. In fact, everyone seemed somewhat stunned that their food was actually all delivered to their tables still piping hot! The vegetables were perfectly cooked, as was the beef, fish and vegetarian tangine. Moreover, the wait staff were utter professionals. Helpful, delightful, and working as a terrific team to ensure that the food and wine were delivered to everyone quickly and efficiently. Notwithstanding the fairly large crowd, the bartenders also worked quickly to serve our guests. They also, thankfully, gave us a heads-up when we were running low on something early in the reception so that more could be obtained! We worked with AJ and In Thyme Catering for our outdoor, DIY, wedding this August, and cannot recommend them enough! From the beginning, AJ and his crew were professional, responsive, and had great attention to detail. After meeting with AJ, we knew there was NO other caterer that could help us execute our big day like them. They truly were the brains of the operation. AJ has an extensive knowledge of the event coordinating space, he was able to solve problems before they even arose! They worked with all our other vendors to make sure the entire process from planning to execution went seamlessly. Frank, our day of coordinator, was fantastic!
