I gave Dennis at In House Graphic Design a rather challenging task: create a map of Wales at the time of the Roman occupation, about AD385!
The purpose was to serve as a frontispiece for my new historical novel The First Village. I needed certain place names of towns and forts, as well as the names of the major Celtic tribes in the region. He produced a lovely map accurately and with some nice cartographic flourishes (waves and mountains)! He was extremely cooperative and prompt in the work, and the cost was modest. I'd recommend this service very highly.
