What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Well this can be a daunting task if you aren't familiar with being able to read a crowd. The key to keeping a party dancing all night long is having the ability to be able to read not only the crowd, but the vibes, the energy levels, and all the other subtle indications on how the floor is flowing throughout the event/day/night. You also have to be willing to take risks and if those risks don't work, you move on swiftly to the next track and DO NOT let it clear the floor. Courage and belief in one's ability are also critical elements of the equation.
This can be considered an art and I would definitely consider myself a specialist at this skill set. One of my secrets to keeping the guests dancing all night is that include an online music request account so the guest has the ability before the event to go online and input their favorite song or two (up to 10) so they are ALMOST certain to hear one of their songs before the event concludes.
Experience, repetition, and years of perfecting one's craft are also HUGE factors in keeping that dance floor cracking. It REALLY is an art and something even almost magical.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I would describe my style as "True Open Format DJ'ing". Any genre, any era, at ANY moment! Mixed flawlessly and seamlessly so there are no musical breaks or gaps in your event from start to last dance of the night/day/event. A consummate, polished, veteran that is there to deliver the highest level of service possible.
Visible when needed, and invisible at other times. A poised, articulate, weapon on the microphone as well. Utilizing tone, cadence, and my voice to best of my ability to deliver an unforgettable experience.
What do you love most about your job?
I love most about my job, THE JOB it self! I'm SO VERY lucky to be able to state that I'm 100% in love with my life's work and can't wait to share my passion, enthusiasm, and love! I NEVER wanted to DJ/MC weddings, it came to me and has allowed me to feel like I'm TRULY doing something positive, filled with LOVE, positivity, and everything that I can possibly put into it so that I'm delivering my best work.
I will go above and beyond to make sure your event turns out how you see it in your mind. Not only helping you translate your vision into reality, but helping create unforgettable memories one event at a time!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because I was no longer willing to except offering anything but the absolute highest level of professional grade entertainment services possible. I could not put my name, reputation, or anything else out there into the world without it being my VERY best. Built on LOVE, BY LOVE, it's the one of the greatest things I've been lucky enough to get to call work.
