Impact Sounds came and DJ's for my employee holiday community at a senior community I manage, and they were very professional and mindful of the senior residents we have so as to not overpower the community with the speakers. They have a great variety of music of all genres, that all my staff, regardless of age and culture enjoyed themselves. Impact Sounds was highly recommended to be by my cousin for my wedding day. I must share that they delivered the hype, the energy, the beats and the FUN! ! They did a really detailed job in preparing for the event with phone conversations and questionnaires to make sure they customized our song selections to our liking. Impact Sounds was great to have at our wedding. Email communication was great. When we met up with Jensen in person we got down to business and everything went really smoothly. The DJ played the type of music we described and it was a really good night. The MC kept with the schedule and kept things on track during the night. I liked having the option of selecting the photo design for the photo booth pictures. The high resolution photos from the photo booth were great to have. Jensen and his team had done my cousin's wedding a few years back, and I remember the music being good, so we decided to go with them for DJ and emcee services for our wedding day. From our first initial meeting with Jensen, we felt very comfortable with him, and felt like he understood our music taste and the vibe we were going for. Throughout the process, Jensen was patient, responsive and eased any concerns we had. Jensen and his crew were absolutely amazing. Not only did they provide superb, high quality service (MC, DJ, photo booth), each individual was a down to earth, reliable, and genuinely good person, which is important when selecting people to work with for something as special as a wedding. They kept the night flowing smoothly, everything on time with the timeline. Their sound system was great and adjusted well to suit the needs of our venue (Julia Morgan Ballroom in SF). The MC and DJ (2 different people!) really set the mood for the night. The dance lights were awesome. The photo booth props, set up and prints were of superior quality! Jensen gave us a huge selection of print styles to choose from, and we were truly amazed at how great the photo booth pics and prints turned out. A huge thank you to Jensen and Impact Sounds for making my wedding day incredibly special and magical!  We had them dj the event, emcee (Bing), and used their photo booth.  Impact Sounds executed everything perfectly and everything went very smoothly.  They have great prices and are very professional.  We met with Jensen a week before the event to go over the program and he was very nice and helpful in planning.  Their photo booth is amazing and everyone loved the props they brought.  I highly recommend Impact Sounds for any event, and I hope to use them again in the future. Impact Sounds did a great job at our wedding this past July and also very reasonable in pricing. Services provided included photo booth, dj and emcee. All you need to do is call the number, Jensen will call you back to schedule an appointment to meet and discuss timeline and Bing the emcee will call you a few days before the wedding to go over the details. Process was easy and straight forward. Jensen kept it professional all the way through. Everyone enjoyed the unlimited photo booth, the music requested was played and Bing kept the crowd entertained! This review is long overdue. We hired Jensen and Impact Sounds for our wedding back in Nov 2015, and we would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. We met with Jensen a couple of times to discuss the schedule, layout, music choices, etc. He was always very professional and offered his own insights based on his experiences, which were very helpful. Our DJ, Bing, was amazing!! The guests loved the music, the photo booth set up was perfect, and everything went smoothly. Jensen and Henry did an awesome job at our wedding this weekend! We had a smaller wedding at a restaurant venue and was unable to put on a full on dance floor. Jensen (DJ) managed to kill it with awesome music and created a small dance area. Henry (MC) kept the flow of events going and managed to collaborate our Chinese and Mexican wedding. We hired Impact Sounds for our wedding a couple weeks ago and they were fantastic!! Jensen, the DJ, is super professional and great to work with! He listens to what exactly what you want and will even offer suggestions on what he thinks is best for the crowd. Our guests loved the uplights they provided as well as the music. Impact Sounds did our wedding a little over a month ago and we couldn't be happier with them.  They had done two of my cousins's weddings and since I had enjoyed the music played at their weddings I decided to go with them as well.  We are so glad that we made that decision.  We ended up booking them for the entire day: ceremony all the way till the end of the night.   Jensen was good from the start and helped get to know us and what we were looking for at our wedding from the first meeting.  Our music selection for the ceremony was a mixture of youtube cover songs and obscure soundtrack music and they were able to find each and every one!  Bing the emcee talked to us a few days before the wedding to get to know us and make sure he got the pronunciation of people's names right...especially my bridesmaids with crazy last names.We also got the photobooth and uplights which really added to the space.  There were lots of props and everyone seemed to love the photobooth and if they can they try to theme them to your wedding.  Day of the wedding we noticed that there was a giant prop that Jensen must have found specifically our wedding.  Thanks!Thank you for a wonderful night and being able to keep the party going till the end. Back in 2012, Jensen and his team did the DJ, emcee, and photobooth services for my Matron of Honor's wedding. I don't remember much from that day other than everything flowing really well, which is a good sign when all I remember are positive things. Naturally, when I got engaged, we immediately considered Impact Sounds. What ultimately made us choose Jensen was his responsiveness to our questions, ability to help us choose music through every aspect of the day, fair pricing, and that they offered photobooth services. I love a one-stop-shop! Bing, the emcee, contacted us a few days before the wedding (Memorial Day 2016) to get to know us a little better.  He used all of those little tidbits we talked about and incorporated them into introductions and kept the flow going all night. Also, the best man must have talked to the team on the down low while we were running around all over the place.  In the middle of his speech, the best man pointed across the room and cued "DJ...." and a song personal to my husband and the best man started playing. That had me rolling in my seat, it was seamless!  The photobooth was also a huge hit! The quality of the photos turned out really well (crisp and clear).  I recall being on the dance floor looking across the way and seeing a group of my husband's younger male cousins at the photobooth....the older ones were swinging the youngest back and forth, back and forth then let him fly towards the camera as it snapped its shot....yikes, I looked away quickly hoping the little one was ok (I saw them all giggle profusely afterwards). We received all of the photos which was super to fun to go through, especially since we didn't have many of our own yet while waiting for our photographer to send us her pics. At our friends wedding jensen and his crew did the lighting, music and mc. We were so impressed we decided to hire them for our own wedding. Off from the start Jensen met up with us personally to discuss how we wanted our wedding to be and immediately me and my fiance knew we were in good hands. Any changes in lights and music, jensen made it work. On the day of our wedding our MC was a guy name Bing and oh man he was awesome! He really knew what he was doing. Even accomodated last minute changes on the spot! The music and sound system was awesome and kept everyone off their seats and dance on the dance floor. The light were beautiful. Patterns were all over the walls and ceilings. They knew just where to set up the lights and speakers to maximize out the sound and visuals. This guys are real pros! We worked with Jensen and hired Impact Sounds for their emcee, DJ and photobooth services for our wedding last May and could not have asked for anything better. Everyone was super professional, down to earth and thing could not have been any easier. Jensen made everything simple and straightforward and was super flexible and patient. As a crazy stressed out bride, I had sent a couple of last minute changes to him the day before the wedding and him and his crew accommodated the change seamlessly. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was. They really know how to keep the party going especially since we had such a diverse group of guests and we had no idea what songs to pick/play. Our emcee did an amazing job by keeping up the flow of the night and corralling our crazy guests during key events of our wedding and pronouncing everyone's name perfectly - it can be a bit difficult with various ethnic names. Their photobooth is brand new and top notch. I was super impressed with the image quality of them and the fun and unique props they had. Looking at the images there was definitely a fan favorite - the tinder prop haha. I ended up making my own photobooth backdrop and they were super accommodating by bringing their stand and setting it up for us then packing everything up at the end of the night.  What I am most impressed with is that they also captured some of their own photos of our wedding to share with it. How good is DJ Jensen?  We hired him for our wedding reception on 8/30/14 at the SSF Conference Center.  In the past, most wedding receptions I attended would pretty much end once the dancing part of the night began.  At our wedding, however, all of our friends stayed until the very end and the dance floor was packed!The bridal party also put together a special singing/dancing performance for the groom and DJ Jensen made the mix.  He was incredibly patient when I had asked him to change/edit the mix multiple times and each time he returned a perfect product. Jensen and team has done it again! Since our wedding, they have done events for my son's 1st birthday party and just recently my mom's surprise retirement party. And what an absolute blast that was! Thanks to Jensen and team, they helped set the mood of the celebration just how we wanted it. Everyone enjoyed the music and most especially the new photo booth set up. They brought it super fun props and really helped capture all the wonderful memories. Impact Sounds are true professionals! Jensen asked me detailed questions about the day of the event and helped me think through things I hadn't thought about. I had some last minute changes, and I found the team to be flexible and adaptable. On the day of, a team of three including Jensen arrived at our wedding venue. If you are clueless about what music to play on your wedding day, Jensen will save your day.  We had no idea that we had to select a song for each section of the reception beside the first dance.  Since we didn't know what songs to pick, we asked Jensen pick for us and everything was more than PERFECT!  One of the best part of our reception was the dance party.  We didn't expect our guests to dance because most of them were traditional family members but the music got ALL my aunts on the dance floor.We also used Impact Sounds for photo booth.  We also asked Jensen to design the print layout for us; the only information we gave him was our theme colors.  The layout and graphic were so CUTE! Want a stress free, non dramatic, straight forward, flexible DJ? Look no further!! We hired Jensen and his crew for their DJ, emcee, and uplighting services for our wedding at Casa Real. He met and exceeded all our expectations! We made the monogram with an online program...mind you I'm not tech saavy but they were able to work with what I had and it turned out beautifully.A week before the wedding we met with Jensen about our vision for the wedding. We wanted a party party party atmosphere and he definitely made that happen! I am a bit of a control freak and wanted Jensen to play specific parts of our processional and entrance songs. I told him to drop the beat 10 times louder when we come dancing out and thats exactly what he did!!Honestly Jensen was one of the easiest to work with out of all our vendors because he knew exactly what to do and when!!! Any BRIDEZILLAAA would be thankful to have him as a DJ because he has a calm, professional demeanor and listens closely to what you want. His pricing is fair and worth every penny if you want a stress free wedding. ***I wish I could give 10 STARS! We worked with Jensen throughout the whole process and he made it extremely simple and easy.  We hired him for the DJ, emcee, lighting and photobooth.  All 4 were spot on perfect.  His crew in working all the services knew exactly what they were doing and went smoothly.  I also didn't give him a wide selection of music to play, so he helped choose and provided the perfect music for certain moments and on the dance floor.  I did request a few less famous music tracks and it was no problem for them to find it.  Overall, if you have a question/request, Jensen has the answer and solution for all your entertainment needs.  Definitely would recommend them for weddings and events!!! Completely and thoroughly happy with Impact Sounds!  They are awesome. I hired them for my wedding in May...and they were amazing!  We hired them for music and lighting.  MUSIC:They were flexible with the schedule - we were running behind but they knew what to do... they had all the guests dancing the night away- both young and the parents crowd :P loved how accomodating they were. Jensen is absolutely WONDERFUL to work with, as he is so professional and his calm demeanor definitely made me feel relaxed during one of the most busiest potentially stressful (we werent really stressed) times of our lives. they mixed all of our requests seemlessly. best telling sign we had a great DJ was that everyone danced the night away. we had a packed dance floor till we closed down!LIGHTING: beautiful lighting. there was one mishap, but that was my fault, i forgot to tell them that i wanted no color on my lights (more amber lights than the purple which was the intial choice I made) but they made the venue look beautiful.In all, they made our wedding so fun! I hired Jensen and his team for Dj services for my wedding on July 20, 2013.  When my husband and I first met Jensen we were impressed that he was prompt and professional. This is definitely HIDDEN GEM of a vendor in the SF Bay Area and northern California.  There are a lot of people out there don't realize how on point and professional this group really is until they hire them. They are not just a DJ service, or a photo booth service or MC service, they are one of the best EVENT ENTERTAINMENT vendors you can hire. I would definitely consider them experts in music entertainment, custom lighting, and other fun or creative additions for your special events, whether its personal or business related. They can customize your music preference, design a custom colored lighting scheme, and even help you design your photo booth printouts.  This group has entertained three weddings in my family and a few cotillions over the past 5 years. They've actually been in business for over a decade and they've constantly adapted to new technologies and trends. They never get stale, outdated, or cheesy. They actually strive to innovate and adapt for your event. I hate to say it... But you would definitely be a fool for not hiring them for your next special event. Impact Sounds gets my 5-star review.  We hired them for our wedding in October 2012 for both our ceremony and reception.  If you are looking for one stop vendor they are the ones to go with.  They are true professionals who have mastered their craft.  All we had to do was send them our songs list, ceremony schedule, reception schedule and they did the rest.   They come prepared and are dressed in classy attire which was important to us.  We booked through Jensen and it was a seamless transaction.     Ceremony:Our ceremony entrances for the officiant, the parents of bride and groom, the wedding party, the flowers girls and the bride entrance were all song dependent.  We just sent Jensen our play list and ceremony program and he delivered on point.  He had enough sound to overcome the outdoors and the wind.  Reception:We had up-lights, monogram, projector and screen for our slideshow, wireless mics, and emcee services.  For the dinner music they just filled in the gaps with their usual stuff.  When the dancing started they had a mixture of 80s rock, top 40 hits, and well a little bit of ghettos (Little John) stuff.  Since a majority of our guest was intoxicated and was from the Oakland area it was just perfect.  At one point everyone at the wedding party was dancing even the kids and old folks.  If you are looking for a wedding DJ and not just any ole DJ they are the ones to go with.  Book them early cause trust me they are that good. They did an amazing job for our wedding!  Jensen and Mark were very friendly and easy to talk to.  We gave them a list of "PLAY" and "DO NOT PLAY" list to them to help them understand our likes and dislikes for the reception music.  We also wanted to make sure that they understood that dancing was to go on till the end of the night--and it was their job to keep it that way.  BOY!  Did they deliver!  They played all the right music to keep the crowd on the dance floor!  At any point in time, we had majority of our guests on the dance floor.  It was great to see everyone having such a good time!  We also rented the photo booth from them.  They always had someone attending the booth and did a great job in moving the guests along without having to wait too long.  Our guests had a great time with it and complimented us for having the photo booth!  We also have great photo booth pictures of our guests too!They were great to deal with and delivered what we wanted.  Also, most importantly reasonably priced!  I highly recommend them! I want to thank Impact Sounds for the incredible MC and DJ job they did for our 7/22 Wedding. Mark was spot on: he helped us keep to our schedule (and even move ahead of schedule when we could! ), which kept the event progressing. We received endless amounts of compliments for how coordinated and smoothly our wedding went. He was good at reminding us time, and asked questions when he was confused by our time table. (Admittedly a bit complicated, as I had EVERYTHING on it).Jensen was a professional, and was able to help accommodate all the song details and playlist request we made. Impact Sounds was AWESOME.We contacted Jensen & Mark about providing DJ and photo booth services for our wedding, and were immediately impressed by his friendliness.  We gave him a brief explanation of the type of music we wanted, but were really clear that most of all, we were looking for Impact Sounds to keep the dancing going all night.And that they did...they played music that was perfectly suited to the crowd.  There was not a time that the majority of the guests weren't on the dance floor, including three songs in when literally 95 of the 100 guests (including my 84 year old grandma) were grooving on the dance floor.The photo booth was awesome too.  With the custom monogram we created, we have a great memento of the evening from each guest.Impact Sounds -- great communication, professional and friendly staff, GREAT DJs, very very reasonable rates.  Highly recommended! Even though my husband and I are currently on our honeymoon, I couldn't wait to post this review.  My husband and I had such an amazing time at our wedding.  Jensen and Mark and his other guy (I didn't get a chance to introduce myself to him) did a really fantastic job at emceeing and playing music for our wedding from beginning to end.  I honestly did not expect my wedding to have such an honest and fun vibe.  They kept mostly everyone dancing on the dance floor, even though that part of the room had no air conditioner.  It got so hot, but I never wanted to stop dancing! And apparently neither did anyone else!  Even my mom, aunts and uncle got up to dance, I could not BELIEVE IT!!!  That was such an incredible moment for me seeing that happen in front of my eyes meant so much to me.  From the first time we met Jensen, we felt a really good rapport with him.  He is extremely professional, very approachable, listens attentively, and soft-spoken.  They definitely came prepared.  What I appreciated so much was the emceeing of our wedding.  I didn't have a wedding planner/coordinator or anyone to facilitate the wedding, but Mark (who I met on the day of our wedding) did such a superb job at following our detailed wedding program that we made for them.  We felt so completely taken care of.s  He kept the wedding operating smoothly from beginning to end and without it, our wedding would have been really hectic.  I could not thank these three guys enough.  Because of them, my husband and I and everyone of our family members and friends had such a good time.  I honestly did not expect so many people dancing on the dance floor, but they kept the party going until the very end.  All I cared about was that people had a great time and so many people came up to me and told me my wedding was so much fun!  SO THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR BEING A PART OF OUR WEDDING!!!!   I highly recommend Impact Sounds to anyone who needs deejaying and facilitating for all occasions! I want to thank Impact Sounds for the AMAZING JOB they did at our wedding reception!  Everyone who attended the reception commented on how wonderful they were. People continue to mention them even today, when the wedding is in discussion!  They got everyone up and dancing. EVERYONE of all ages had a great time!!!!!  My kids loved them!  Jensen and his team were true professionals. They were well organized, fully prepared, timely and went out of their way to meet our needs.   Even when the schedule wasn't maintained, they went with the flow and made my husband and I extremely relaxed and not worried about them at all.  They were amazing like that and we really appreciated it. Not only did the play great music, they met all of our unique musical requests, as well as the requests of several of the guests.  As an added bonus they even took phenomenal pictures!  If you haven't seen them, flickr.com/photos/impact…, you should check them out!  Not only would recommend Impact Sounds for any type of event, wedding, party, etc... Thank you IMPACT SOUNDS!!!  The birthday party was  a great success!!! The whole crew was fantastic and they dressed well for the occasion which we really appreciated! !! They turned up early to set up, he had with him our emailed programme and song requests and played the latest songs approriate for the age groups.We didnt even have the time to meet up because of my busy schedule, but I trusted them. Excellent DJ, HOST and PHOTOGRAPHER!!!  Everybody loved it!!!  Yup, Even our Grannies!!!  THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!!  WOOOHOO!!!!  Highly recommend  for any party or event!!!  Thank you sooooo much I.S.  crew for making this special celebration a night to remember for all the right reasons. What great wedding DJs!I just got married this past July, and Impact Sounds really made the soundtrack for the day. Jenson met with us beforehand to coordinate the day and really get a feel of the musical style that we were looking for. We wanted specific songs for the wedding, and they went out of their way to get the music. They did the ceremony music beautifully, and they really got the party going during the reception. And great sound system! I've been to weddings where people come and go on the dance floor, but the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. On top of that, they took some pictures, and we were able to rent a projector for the slideshow. I used Impact Sound for my wedding back in June. I used them for my photobooth, slideshow, and DJ. They were awesome to work with. When I talked w/ them early I asked if they had a wireless sound hookup for their projector b/c I knew we would need one for our slideshow. At the time Jensen said they currently didn't have one but would probably get one before the wedding and would let me know. A couple of months later he called to say they had one so It would be no problem. GREAT! As the date got closer I asked Jensen if he would go to an onsite meeting. Our reception was at the SFDC Galleria in San Francisco. It was a big venue and we were having a lot of people so I wanted to make sure that Jensen was familiar with the set up and if he had any questions for the onsite technician he could ask him ahead of time. Jensen came and it wasn't a problem at all. On the day of the event the DJ was awesome. The set up and take down of the slide show was perfect. He did break up the intro to our song but it wasn't something that I specified to him. And the dance floor was ALWAYS PACKED. He wasn't able to play all of the songs that we requested and played some we didn't but I guess that didn't matter b/c it wasn't like our guests noticed. Everyone had an awesome time! After the wedding he even sent me pictures that they had taken from their own personal camera. They got some great shots! The only thing that I could complain about was the quality of the photobooth pictures. I guess it's sort of my fault b/c I didn't totally look into it. I got a little lazy in that research department. It only fit max 3 people and the picture quality wasn't that great. If I could do it over again I probably would've not been lazy and looked for another company. If I ever need a DJ in the future I would definitely use them again. More...

A celebration is only as good ad the music,DJ and lighting and these guys had all that going on for us!!! My daughters Quinceanera was great. We heard everything, hip hop, salsa, bachata, and pop,  and they kept the teens and adults dancing all night. The lighting made the location elegant and their photo booth service was a big hit.  I will definitely be using them again and recommending them. All you gotta do is ask Jensen and he'll do it! The best part of my experience with Impact Sounds was how wonderfully they worked with me. Jensen was very courteous and great in communicating with me the whole time. Service is one thing, good customer service is hard to find. Jensen's crew were all also very , very nice and patient with my guest.... I can go on and on... bottom line.... 5 STARS!!!! More...

I highly recommend Impact Sounds. They were our DJs for our wedding in April.  They played music for every generation.  I have been to weddings where the DJ sucked so I was picky with what DJ to hire.  They really kept the crowd on the dance floor.  They also provided us weith MC services which I felt was important because I did not want to ask one of my guests to MC.  Jensen was really easy to work with as well.  They also provided us with uplights and custom monogram light.  It was great and it really added that something extra to our wedding.
