We recently received the great news that my wife has been granted permanent leave to remain thanks to the extremely professional work of Shabana at Immigration Status. My wife came to live with me in the UK in 2016 and we found the visa application process very stressful due to the previous two immigration lawyers lack of professionalism and poor communication skills which led to her 2.5 year application being submitted right at the last minute. Our experience left us lacking any confidence, so when it came time to applying for PLR I didn’t know who to turn to and spent lots of time searching for someone locally to no avail. "The fallen Angel" this is definitely what the professional Shabana Shahab means to me and to my husband Paul SImon Peter Wickendon-Hoffmann. When I was about to give up on the Spouse Visa and have literally lost all my hope towards it, then suddenly I received a telephone call from this amazing and very professional solicitor, Mrs Shabana Shahab and everything has changed from that day on. I am Brazilian by nationality and got married with a English person on 5th December 2021 under the Fiancé Visa. Then I have applied to the Spouse Visa by myself and unfortunately it has been refused. The option I had was either to do an appeal or leave the country within 14 days. I have telephoned to a plenty numbers of Lawyers/Solicitors to try to get my case sorted out somehow without me having to leave the country. Despite all my tries, all of the solicitors I have spoken to, they could not ensure anything at all. As the days were counting down to make an appeal, me and my husband were getting very frustrated, stressed and sad knowing that potentially I would have to go back to Brazil as nobody was able to actually instruct us the right direction. I needed to apply for a spouse visa in order to settle in the UK with my family, this meant that I had to return to NZ to apply as I did not meet the criteria for an in-country application. After bad experience using previous IAS/IMMIGRATION SOLICITOR, I was sceptical finding another in short period of time. After searching and coming across Status Solutions I contacted Shabana and explained the situation to her. She listened and was upset and understanding what had happened. As I wanted to progress another application I sent across everything I had and any extra documentation shabana needed. This went smoothly from start to finish. After the issue and appeal in March 2019 shabana worked very hard to sort out and organise our documents to be resubmitted in May 2019, this was near end of May and my wife had her biometrics next day. HOME OFFICE received application 7th June, We could only wait and wait and see what happens, after I visited my wife afterwards for our anniversary I came back home and waited BUT not long, we actually heard back 2nd week in August and the good news was GRANTED. Well we where both over the moon took only 2 months at least and now my wife is finnaly with me. I can only say shabana worked hard, she knew our circumstances and situation and worked through it correcting and sorting out. Shabana was polite and well spoken, I was worried at first because of communication but she works hard at her job and has many many other clients how have also been successful in applications.If in doubt, I would recommend shabana 100% give her a call and she will guide you.
