Milan helped me get ready for two parties with my husband's co-workers. She took time to understand what I was looking for and her communication was fantastic. She is a professional and thoroughly understands different skin types and tones, and the looks that will complement your unique face. She is patient and methodical, and makes adjustments as necessary to give you the look you want. Milan made myself and all of my bridesmaids look and feel amazing on my wedding day! From the start of our phone consultation, I was confident that Milan would deliver exactly what I was envisioning for my makeup look. Milan completed the makeup for myself and 8 bridesmaids as well as my hair on my wedding day 9/14. Every single girl looked flawless and i felt beautiful as the bride. Even when my hair products made my natural hair a flaky mess, Milan saved the day with her own products. It was a bit hectic with the sheer amount of ladies but she pulled through. Amazing experience! This is my second time hiring her. The first job was for wedding makeup and the second was for hair and makeup for my photo shoot. I had a certain idea in mind for my makeup, fully equipped with pictures of my vision and she far exceeded my expectations. Absolutely love Milan. Not only is she such a sweet, down-to earth, kind-hearted person, but she is a true makeup-artist! Milan was an absolute dream and such a sweetheart! I found her on Instagram and after viewing her work I knew I had to book her! She encouraged me to do a makeup trial and I'm so glad that I did because it gave me a much clearer idea of what I wanted for my wedding day (I'm a bit indecisive lol). She really outdid herself! Everyone was raving about my makeup, my mother's makeup, my MOH's makeup, etc. Absolutely flawless! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Milan’s work as a makeup artist. She made me feel comfortable during my trial and really listened to my requests. She truly is an artist. She did my bridal makeup flawlessly and I received so many compliments. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea but she was able to cover the redness and texture issues while keeping me look natural and like myself for my wedding day. I knew immediately after my first consultation with Milan I needed her to be my makeup artist! I had the opportunity to work with her 2 weeks ago for my wedding. I was nervous because I never wear makeup, however, I couldn't be happier with how all of our makeup turned out. My bridesmaids, my mother, and myself have very different skin tones and types, and Milan and her makeup assistant Casey did a FABULOUS job catering to all of our different needs. I found it difficult to find someone in Tampa Bay who could work with African American natural hair for my wedding, and I was SO LUCKY to have Milan able to take care of my makeup AND hair. It was absolutely gorgeous! Milan was so professional and patient throughout this process, and on the day of the wedding she was so calm and positive about everything.
