This place is incredible. We leave in two days and it’s going to be a tough one to pull away from. Beautifully maintained and so relaxing. We have enjoyed our time here immensely. Our site was right next to the playground which was perfect for our three daughters. Plenty to do here, but if you choose to head to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, you are not too far. We stayed closer to PF for the first part of our trip and missed the true camping experience. This was our salvation. Love this place. More...

BEST RV park I’ve seen in years. Staff is so welcoming. Family friendly, with a long list of things for kids to do. Putt putt course, playground, swimming pool, movies every night, gem mining, ice cream parlor, and souvenir shop. Bathroom facilities are super clean. They also have a dish washing station for tent campers and 24 hour laundry facility! I love that they are dog friendly and compared to almost every other RV park, it’s still wooded. They didn’t just clear out all the beautiful trees and put in cement pads. Each campsite is unique just like their website says. We had a beautiful creek running behind ours that the kids caught crayfish and salamanders in. Beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!! More...

We love this place!!!! Super clean cabins right on a beautiful stream. The grounds are well maintained and you can tell the owner puts his heart into making sure it’s a great experience for everyone. Highly recommend. Why? The water is beautiful. Our grandkids played for 2 days in the water. So much to do..pool swimming, Hammock Hollow, play ground, nightly movie, ice cream and more! What a great place to stay. A hidden treasure! We tent camped here and even extended our stay. Mini golf, pool, giant chess, arcade, playground, ice cream parlor, 2 restroom areas, laundry room with several washers/dryers, trash service, and a wonderful stream you can access all throughout the park. Great location for access to zip lines/rafting tours. If you forget anything the camp store has supplies but there is also a Dollar General within a 1/2 mile. We will be back! More...

Recently spent a week tent camping here. It was much better than we expected. Very friendly staff and clean facilities. Mini golf, pool, arcade, ice cream parlor, and plenty of planned activities to fill your day. I will say the streamside tent spots at the front have a bit of road noise to be expected, but it was not too bad. We were able to add a few nights to our stay and moved to a spot in the back of the park and it was wonderful! More...

We LOVED our stay here! Everything was very clean. We loved all the offered activities. My youngest really enjoyed the Kids Camp everyday. He woke up ready for fun and made so many friends. The pool was great and refreshing. The grounds are well maintained and gorgeous everywhere you look. We loved the coffee bar every morning and the kids all loved the ice cream parlor after the pool! The family that runs this campground is so sweet. Their daughter cashed us out a couple of times and was so cheerful. Adorable! If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely return! More...

Our large family has been staying at Imagination Mountain for several years now, with plans to keep going back! This is a very family friendly campground, with cabins, tent sites, RV hookups, and yurts. There are several bathhouses on site, some cleaner than others.  The staff does a great job keeping the well used facilities clean, but it's still camping.  A beautiful creek runs through the campground that is perfect for relaxing by or playing in. There is also a pool, ice cream shop, playground, and many family activities throughout the week that are especially good for kids.It's about a twenty minute drive from downtown Gatlinburg, and close to a lot that the Smokey Mountains have to offer. We stayed at Imagination Mountain over our spring break this year and had a wonderful time. The campground is fairly small but super clean, has quite a few things for kids to do and a majority of the sites are creek side. The kids had a blast creeking with their rain boots. The people there are amazing. They treat you like family. We were camping very late in the season and there were very few people there so the owner gave my 8yr old son tokens to play in the game room for free. The gem mining was closed down but he hadn’t winterized it yet and my son was playing in what was left in the shoot and he turned it on for us so he could actually mine rocks. When I was searching for a campground for my trip to the mountains I had a pretty long and specific wish list. I wanted to be away from the crowds, but close to all my adventures. I wanted a small campground with big campground ammenities. And last but not least, I wanted great customer service and a well maintained property. I got all of this and WAY MORE at Imagination Mountain. I got better than customer service, I got family service. I was escorted to, and backed into, my site within minutes, which is a big plus for this solo traveler. It is obvious that the Landry family takes great pride in their property and truly enjoys meeting their guests. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek outside my window was heaven and the massage bed after my two day hike was a welcome bonus! Imagination Mountain is now my base camp for all my future adventures into the mountains. Thank you Landry family for helping me have one of my best trips ever! and I look forward to seeing you again soon. More...
