We contacted IK Building and Landscaping after recommendations by neighbours.
Work carried out for us, for a reasonable price, to a very high standard using quality materials was as follows - prepared site and installed composite decking, removed old lawn, levelled the area, laid quality turf, removed old grey slabs, then laid new Indian sandstone paving in concrete which was later treated with a sandstone sealer.
This description doesn't convey the amount of hard work carried out by Igor and his colleague Ferenc to ensure that we ended up with a back garden that is exactly what we wanted. Igor helped us to design the garden and kept us updated on everything that was being done. We have no hesitation in recommending IK Building and Landscaping and we will get them back to do work on our front garden.

I obtained a few quotes for a replacement path and Ik Building and Landscaping came out at the best value. I was working to a budget and assumed that all I could afford would be grey concrete slabs however Igor showed me the beautiful natural stone slabs that he would use and needless to say I was surprised and delighted with them. Igor and his colleague arrived when they said they would, worked very hard constantly despite the inclement weather, clearly took pride in their work and did a lovely job. The path looks amazing and is an absolute joy to walk on! Both gentleman, and they are just that, were lovely to deal with and I would have no hesitation in using their services in the future. Landscape Design
1 year on I am having igor’s patio install redone by another company as his work is falling to pieces.
I have had 6 companies quote me for the work to be redone.
They have all been shocked by his work.
Wonder if he will answer this because he doesn’t get back to my calls or messages.
Issues -
Pointing falling out everywhere (and that’s his second attempt)
Slabs moving and some coming completely loose (he just laid the slabs on sand when they should be concreted in)
Built a retaining wall too high then just left it
Untidy cuts on slabs and did not level the drains correctly
Damaged slabs during install
Damaged house harling twice in install
Put the patio right against the house with no chipped border for drainage
The shed base he installed was also not level

I had an image in mind and Igor gave me so many ideas I hadn’t thought about and I loved them all. A pleasure to have these guys around they are amazing. Scheduled an appointment to get a quote, made arrangements at work to take some time off to be at home. Igore didn't show up.
I got a text message saying he wasn't coming at the exact time he was supposed to show up at my door. We re-scheduled for later that day after he confirmed he could do a timeframe of 2 hours.
Again, when the time came and he was supposed to be here, he cancelled again.
Whenever I take time off I don't get paid. Business who don't take their customers time seriously, are bad businesses.
Obvious I won't be dealing with this again.

I refer to the above review. The agreement with the customer was arranged for a slot between 2-4 on the agreed day. Due to the working schedule, and being a bank holiday the traffic was very busy and it was going to be impossible to be there for 2. I contacted the customer at 2pm to advise him that I would be able to be at his premises before 4. Still within the agreed time slot !! I then received a txt from the customer saying “not to bother” and ending with a sarcastic remark . The review in my opinion, is unwarranted as I was still fulfilling my agreement.

It is so hard to find tradesmen who not only respond to your call but also turn up for the appointment let alone get the job completed.
