First time we've visited, loved every minute , food excellent at the grill bar, staff made you feel welcome, we even went outside to chill with a few beers afyerwards and sat on the bean bags, great atmosphere with a mixture of age clientele too, the odd child knocking about , well recommended 😀

One or two excellent food offerings but some of them disappointing and too many of them closed - on a Saturday afternoon! Very variable service, a few individuals lovely, the majority surly and brusque . Some orders arrived promptly, but we were kept waiting for ages for others. Overall the whole place feels a bit scruffy and rough in atmosphere, and very overpriced for a mediocre experience. The live music/performance art was painful. Kept hoping it would end and just let us chat in peace. But the worst part was the absolutely awful app. Kept crashing. Difficult to navigate. Impossible to see what you’d ordered. Kept wiping our orders. Ended up ordering what we could actually see and understand rather than exploring everything that was on offer - and didn’t order everything we would have, because the experience was so poor. Had an amazing evening tonight, had a table booked for 4:30 and seated promptly by a wonderful friendly staff member who took his time to explain everything to us, we had also booked to see dj yoda at 6:30 and someone came and got us and took us over to the next area, all food and drinks arrived pretty quickly and as far as Manchester prices go I thought it was great value and it was all delicious! Firstly this is a great venue. They have a good set up and made it very cool. The atmosphere is good. They where well organised in getting in and showed us to our table promptly. The quality of food is also excellent. However… we pre-paid (do not do this btw as it is the biggest scam ever) for four tickets with food. When we arrived we were given 4 x £35 vouchers to use against food (as we are a family of four). The trouble is you can’t stack your vouchers so unless you order exactly £35 worth of food / drink then you have to top up on your card. We ended up leaving with two have unused vouchers and spending £££ on our bank cards. The next thing is you have to order everything on the app. This would usually be ok but the app is crap (and I mean terrible). It hardly works, you are not sure if your order has gone through and literally (and I mean everyone) was complaining about it. This could be such a cool venue for Manchester. Sort it out please. We went to Kantina today(Sunday). It was amazing. We arrived at 17:10 for a 17:30 booking - we were met immediately by a member of staff who told us where to queue for our booking. We were inside by 17:37. Food was incredible, service great - one of the vendors took a while to get food out but when it arrived it was delicious. App worked perfectly - we downloaded before arrival. We were able to stay at our table for a while longer as we had a dessert on order. I think the teething problems have been ironed out. Beautiful venue and great tasting food but from arrival the system is shocking .. considering you get a 2 hour slot, we had a 6. 30 booking, didn’t get in till gone 7 and everything is so slow just because of the sheer greed of the organisers and the amount of people they’re trying to push through ! Food vendors have to close to catch up with orders, at one point the only vendor open was to serve coffee ! Btw if you Rock up at 7 but your booking was 6.15 you can just jump all the ques and walk in ? Surely you should loose your slot ? Could be amazing but needs some work More...
