My boyfriend has been dying to try this place and have some of their ramen. It was a busy and packed New Year's Eve at Armature Works, so I decided to stay put and get something to eat myself. We were lucky enough to score some seats at the bar which also was a deciding factor for me to stay and eat. My boyfriend of course got ramen, which I'm not that into, but i did think their chicken app looked pretty good. I also got their pork belly bao bun, which my boyfriend ordered and we splut it. Everything we had was fesh and tasty. I really loved the chicken and the Sriracha sauce. For one it was flavorful, but not at all greasy. The bao bun had the right balance of juicy meat and crisp veggies. I remembered getting these at Anise gastrobar, which I really miss dearly, so it was nice to get my hands on them again. All the staff there were really nice and in a jovial mood along with the crowd. I was also impressed with how quickly the food came out. Wow the buns at this place are to die for. Upon recommendation of the cashier, we tried the chicken katsu buns that were on special. We definitely plan on coming back to try the pork buns that are on the regular menus. We also got the boxed sake. I usually go for hot sake-but they did not have that. This cold, boxed sake was great. It comes in a little juice box and is the perfect amount to split. While you are sampling around at armature works, I highly recommend this as a stop. More...

All of the items on the menu are so delicious. If there's something in the bowl you don't like, they would happily substitute it for something else. All of their staff are so friendly and helpful, out of all of times I've been here, I have never received an attitude from anybody. I love coming here to get my ramen / rice bowl. The brunch bowl offered on saturdays are the only thing that I see worth getting. All of the other menu items are better at their actually stand alone restaurants in Tampa and st. Pete. If you're already at armature, you might as well check out the other vendors if you're from Tampa. Otherwise, it's not a terrible vendor but I don't really go out of my way to go to armature works just to eat here More...

Came with my girlfriend for lunch on a Wednesday, parking was free but still difficult to find a spot at armature works. Our dining experience reflects the dine in experience. Our hostess Sam (dark straight hair and glasses) was very kind, refilled my water, and didn't rush us. I got the chicken paitan which had a single large piece of chicken, noodles, green onion, bamboo shoots, and garlic. My girlfriend got some of the hot sauce which was 75 cents extra and shared some with me because they give you a lot. Overall my ramen was flavorful, creamy almost. The chicken was just ok, kind of wish I had gotten pork belly. The amount of ramen was proportionate to about how much I paid, I know some people say they've gotten ramen for cheaper and in greater amount but I haven't seen a well known ramen place that prices below $13-14 per bowl. At the bottom there were small pieces of ginger, which cleansed the palate. I really enjoyed coming here, Sam was great, however I will try one of their other storefronts for my next review. More...

Came all the way from Alaska to try more food. Visiting family from out of town. I have seen a lot of Ramen places around Florida but decided to try this one because of how cute the decorations were and how yummy the Ramen looked on the screens. The ramen broth was very flavorful, however a bit on the oily side. Not much of a problem tho. The meat fell right apart and almost melted in your mouth, seriously sooo amazing, however my brothers piece of meat was a bit fatty. The bamboo shoots were AMAZING, first time having something so ... unique! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the egg, oh my god, BEST RAMEN EGG EVER. it was cooked so perfectly and seasoned justtt right ! One problem i had was the useless silverware, why would you need a PLASTIC fork, knife, and spoon when you have a PLASTIC soup spoon and chopsticks seemed so pointless to me...Overall i do reccomend this place, the shoyu ramen we tried was delicious.
