Love this studio! Irina is very friendly and welcoming, and the space is light and bright. It's also a little tucked away so it's quiet. I've been to two classes so far - one barre and one yoga/cardio class - and both were great! Cutest little yoga studio!  Irina is extremely friendly and welcoming.  The class was an excellent way to wake up in the morning (did the 6 AM).  The class definitely had an extra kick than a normal yoga class and got my heart rate pumping a bit, which I love!  Classes are extremely small so you receive specialized attention.  At the end she gives a small massage with scented towel which was so relaxing. I used to love yoga.  Then I started going to a place that made me not like yoga.  Even though I had loved it in the past, I had resigned myself to accept I just didn't like it anymore.  One of my friends told me about a free yoga class at this studio on Edgewood.  Why not, I think I will try it out. Wow.  That's all I can say is wow.  I found my love of yoga again.  I remembered it isn't just a mindless series of moves.  It should be joyful and fun and soothing to the soul.  That's what you will find at Ib Yoga.There are so many things to love about this studio and Irina.  Lets start with the easy stuff.  The studio is charming and inviting.  The minute you walk into the door, the scents and open airy space sets the tone for your practice.  The decor and general feel is exactly what I would want in a studio.  Irina? Adorable.  She is friendly, inviting, and will set you at ease immediately.  I love her instruction and personality.  Going here reminds you that yoga should be fun and make you happy.  She is mindful of past injuries and great with hands on correction.  I, like others on here, love the peppermint towels and shoulder press at the end.  Her regular yoga class is great but my favorite is her Ib Fit class!  It will work up a sweat and is invigorating.  I love it.  I also love not being packed in like sardines as there is a 6 person limit so you get a very personal experience.  Check it out. I recently attended a class at IB Yoga and from the moment I entered, I felt its simplicity and charm. The lofty space and natural lighting makes the studio very inviting and calming.  I really enjoyed Vineet's class and teaching style. The small class size allowed for personal attention to adjust alignment and focus on correct breathing. By integrating his passion for music into various vinyasa flow sequences, Vineet brought a whole new positive energy to class, making it unique and fun.Not only was it a great head-to-toe workout but it also left me feeling energized and inspired :) Can't wait until the next class! IB Yoga-Barre kicks my booty!I cannot say enough positive things about this studio! I've never gone to any gym/studio so consistently, or for that matter, enjoyed working out as much as at IB. Irina is such a bright, and positive presence, and her classes are diverse and challenging enough to keep me coming back. She focuses a lot on form and alignment to prevent injury. There are a lot of things I had no idea I was doing wrong! The studio itself is very open, bright, and welcoming. Parking has never been an issue for me there. I always park on the side street next to Chrome Yellow Trading Co., I believe it's Daniel Street, but I think you can park on Edgewood, as well.She's also does this wonderful shoulder press with peppermint oil to end class which is just dreamy, and once in a while will send you off with a little dark chocolate. Classes with Irina are so fun!  The hour just flies by, even though I am sweating and engaged the entire time.  Since she purposely keeps the class sizes down, she's able to give you attention when you want it, but is sensitive to just letting you focus on your practice if you're in "the zone".  Her studio is SOOO cute and relaxing, and it's still a really good yoga/barre/fit workout.  Easy street parking, and really convenient to grabbing a bite in the Edgewood district afterwards.  And those mint scented cold towels and her shoulder presses really are something to look forward to after an hour long workout!!! Great barre and yoga studio! The owner Irina provides personalized instruction, and the small class size allows her to do so more than at other standard barre studios. It was a bit tricky to find the first time- it is next to Chrome Coffee. There is street parking. To enter the studio you have to walk through the gravel lot and enter in the back. Cool studio on Edgewood in a very unique lofty space. Nice mix of vinyasa classes and more fusion stuff and meditation/yin classes too. The big thing here is there's a cap of 6 people per class so you don't feel claustrophobic. Awesome teacher that'll make sure to pay attention to your experience level/goals and not just throw a cookie cutter class out there.Definitely go check it out! More...
