Katie saved my breast feeding journey with my son. I am eternally grateful for her knowledge and passion in what she does. Thanks to Katie my son is now gaining weight, thriving and meeting all of his milestones. My son was born with a tongue and lip tie. After getting it revised we followed up with CST sessions. The very first time we had craniosacral therapy with Katie, my daughter was able to pull herself up to the coffee table for the very first time. Our daughter was delayed in motor milestones due to a stroke during my pregnancy. It caused her to have right-sided weakness down her entire right side. Katie was able to pinpoint exactly where her stroke occurred by feeling the build-up of cerebrospinal fluid in different areas of her skull. She massaged those areas along with her face, jaw, trunk and limbs on the right side, with a soft and gentle touch. We did craniosacral therapy with Katie in addition to our weekly PT and OT through WV Birth to 3. I highly recommend Katie. She really knows her stuff and I learned so much about how my daughter’s body/brain worked just by going to her sessions. She takes a holistic approach and truly meets needs on an individual basis. This woman is truly my family’s hero!! I was recommended to Katie after my son was released from children’s hospital with plenty of problems and no answers. Katie took over an hour to talk to me on the phone the first time I ever called her. She was so reassuring and optimistic I immediately began to feel better. I called her on a Saturday night and she could tell the urgency of my situation and arranged to meet us the very next morning on Palm Sunday of all days. My baby and I went in with concerns of a poor nursing latch, he had no desire to try and suck after being in the hospital for almost two weeks; low weight gain, air way concerns, and general off demeanor from all the hospital trauma. Within one visit my son was nursing so much better and with each visit his improvement was incredible!! Katie is so incredibly knowledgeable and passion about her work! After 2 months of drs visits and specialists we still have no answers; however, all of my sons major symptoms have cleared thanks to Katie’s work!! Not one dr has done or said anything to improve my sons quality of life after we left children’s hospital. I am forever grateful I found such an amazing person to help and I tell everyone about her even though most people look at me like I’m crazy. More...

Soooo I just want to say thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers... as you all know Brayden was tounge tied and lip tied at birth, he was clipped a week later well I’ve been breastfeeding since. . Brayden would nurse for 3 minutes pull off and become very very fussy and irritable as well as projectile puke during/after feedings soo after numerous trips to the dr, Walmart and a couple hundred dollars spent as well as an ear infection we found out the problem Brayden’s head is still technically “newborn” so what happened is the fluid in the head wasn’t moving so his head wasn’t shifting and molding properly soo Brayden had pressure on his vagus nerve and was unable to digest properly and relax to digest well. with that being said we took him to our last resort we tried EVERYTHING even dairy free formula because I thought it was something I was doing wrong I just want everyone to take a look at his skull he was wearing the blue today the others are before pics I want to thank katie higson a local craniosacral therapist for the awesome work!!! My son is no longer on acid reflux medication, he no longer spits up with feedings (well projectile spitting) he still has normal baby spit up, his head is forming back to normal, he latches on with no problem, the gas is within moderation and he is so much more happier!!! we are complete!!!!! Katie is absolutely wonderful! We took our 6 week old to her today after having his tongue and lip ties revised and she really helped relax him and myself and by the time we got home our little guy finally slept and slept for hours!
