This place is fantastic. I'm writing this review on my fixed laptop. It had slowed to a standstill and I foolishly attempted to fix it myself with my little technical knowledge. I made it worse. I took it to The Computer Shop and the guy, in minutes, showed me how dead my hard drive was. He recommended some really reasonably priced ones online and talked me through everything. And after getting the parts, he had it all fixed in a few hours. He's really nice and took the time to improve my own computing knowledge too. I'll definitely be back. My tablet wasn't charging and one place I went to told me I needed to replace the charging port costing £45 after trying to sell me chargers that didn't work. I spent several days on and off trying to boot up my iMac. I know a few basics, so I tried to format the drive, re-install from disc etc. ..
My SMART drive had failed so nothing would work. As the iMac is 8 years old Apple won't repair it anymore, so I looked online and called a local service who deal with Mac's.

How lucky was I to pick these guys! I spoke to Mohammed and he seemed very knowledgeable. He replaced my hard drive, plus a screen component that had burnt out and was genuinely helpful and truly very knowledgeable. I was planning to install the system software myself (which is very time consuming) but he did this for me too and didn't try to charge me extra. Very fast, very efficient service. The screen on my laptop wasn't working and the motherboard was cracked. They put in a new screen cable and glued the motherboard, at a reasonable price—laptop's back from Hades, looks brand new Definitely recommend the service.

The screen of my School Lap Top suddenly went blank and had vertical lines on one side with a thumb imprint. Read all the previous reviews for the Computer shop which were very good so thought I'd try them out. The two guys were very helpful and gave me very reasonable prices for either replacing the screen or copying all the data. As the Lap Top belongs to school I decided to take the latter option of copying the data and work on my home Lap Top.

Took my IMac in for upgrade to OS. I am not a techie person, the desktop is almost 10 years old, and had not been well maintained, so I was anxious about getting the job done well. Got really excellent service. Easy to understand explanations, even for me! Data backed up carefully, new OS installed and much needed spring clean. All completed efficiently and quickly within time estimated, 2 days. While I was collecting my computer I met another customer who said that he always uses this company for repairs, and annual servicing. That goes for me too now! Took my laptop in as the screen had turned very dark. I thought The backlight had gone. The man in the shop rang me back and told me it was just a cable that had come loose. Great local service. Even if you're not, this is still worth making the effort to navigate the one-way system and mini-Holland if you are looking around for computer repair. They combined three repairs into one good price, did exactly what they promised, then threw in a related fourth problem solution for free.
