The best Thai food restaurant in Whitby. My wife and I order food from here quite often and they are really consistent with their food quality and taste. We have tried many of their dishes and were never disappointed. You can tell that the food was prepared with care, and they try to present the food in a nice manner even for takeout. The owner appears to be really good at keeping the customers informed of upcoming closures. There's messages on their website or on Google maps whenever the place is closed for holidays or due to staff vacation. As a regular, I find this very useful. Delicious meals served prompt and hot. I get the lemongrass soup, vegetarian option and also meat. Their soups are really lovely and flavourful. My boyfriend is kind of a foodie and says he wishes we discovered this place sooner, it's a good choice. We got here not long before close and asked if it was okay to order. The gentleman who served us was very polite and said of course.
We ordered to go so as not to be a pain. He stayed and chatted with us for the duration of our wait, which was very nice.
The food was very tasty and I would strongly recommend you try out this restaurant if you have a hankering for some Thai good.
Price was very reasonable and the wait was good too. Very pleased overall.

The food here at ithai is very well made! Lunch special is great price for yummy food. The service is a bit slow and they are not the most attentive, we needed napkins and hot sauce but the lady did not come out of the back the entire time we ate. Good food though!

Gave this place a try as a change from our typical Asian restaurants in the area. Thr menu was big and overwhelming, and to top it off it didnr really provide any descriptions of the food, so for someone who doesn't understand it much you don't know what you are getting into. There is a smaller lunch special menu, which suffers the same fate of no descriptions. The food itself was good. They were very quick to serve the food and the presentation was very good- simple and appetizing- so i enjoyed it. The seating was nice and looks like a good place to have lunch wirh friends or even dinner. The portions are smaller than the typical thai place but it doesnt go to waste, so it was good overall. Been coming here since it opened. The quality of food has always been amazing and the owner (& staff) are always nice. Most people do take-out so it's always quiet inside which makes for a good date night!
