This place is in Texas. I am not. The owner of it, whom I have never met, decided to be a bit of a jerk online because he thought there would be no consequences.

Honestly, if you wanna train here go nuts. I've had my fun. But let me tell you something about my experience with Mark that you should know before you decide to pay him to teach you. He had no problems finding me, calling me names and acting like a jerk online. But after I decided to fight back I called him at least 4 times and he didn't have the guts to pick up the phone once.
Maybe Mark is a great trainer. but he was too scared of me to pick up the phone when I called his business number during business hours and offered to settle this little tiff between us quietly though. So maybe you should factor that into your decision.

Hyena Muay Thai is a part of the Revolution Dojo - two great schools located right next to each other - Muay Thai and BJJ. As a member you can pick to practice both or just focus on one. I am over 40 years old, and when I joined the group I was completely "green". Mark (owner) has a very personal approach to all his students and is a great fighter-teacher. After only few months I am not only lost good 10 pounds(and few inches in waist) but I also improved my fighting skills. I joined to get in shape and learn something, but don`t mistaken that studio with others "kids play" ones, its a real school for fighters and you will have a chance to meet and train with true professional and amateur fighters, who are really on the high level of skills. In all seriousness, I can see absolutely why anyone would shell out money for a private session with Mark, his attention to detail with technical work is great and something I truly appreciate. I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with Mark in the near future.
