Jeanna is amazing!!!! I was probably one of the least helpful customers she has had. I literally sent an email saying that I need a cake. I didn't know how many I needed to serve. I didn't even really know what I wanted it to look like. She made several great suggestions and we went with it. She is patient and understanding and I really really appreciate the time she took to follow up with me and get the cake that we wanted for my mother's 70th birthday.  Her husband delivered the cake for us in the rain and he was also very friendly and helpful. I live in California and wanted an awesome cake for my niece's 40th birthday in Round Rock, TX.  Found Humble Pie Desserts online.  Saw the Wonder Woman cake in a Yelp review.  Called Jeanna, Founder and Cake Artist, and she was awesome!  Easy to work with and quick responses.  My niece was amazed and surprised by the Wonder Woman cake.  She absolutely LOVED it and said it was DELICIOUS!  Bottom layer was chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream & chocolate ganache.  Top layer was lemon cake with lemon buttercream.  Thanks, Jeanna, for making my niece's 40th birthday so special! I saw another person who had ordered this wonder woman cake talking about it on people of round rock on Facebook and knew I had to have it for my adult daughter's birthday. The owner was super sweet to work with and responsive and accommodating of my request to make the cake smaller and shorter so I could transport it three hours away. My daughter was blown away by how beautiful the cake was and when we tasted the yellow cake it was the best yellow cake we had ever had. She refused to let anyone eat anything but the back half of it so she could put it in the fridge and admire it like it was still whole for a few days LOL five stars all the way. More...

Jeanna has been a pleasure to talk to. She made my daughters cake for her birthday. It was 3 tier, Black, white and gold. My daughter wanted flowers and that's exactly what she got, beautiful little flowers around the cake ! The guest loved it!! Everyone kept asking where did I order this beautiful cake and the compliments went on through out the night. Jeanna saved the day and truly exceeded our expectations with the 16th birthday cake in a Fire & Ice theme! I had a general idea of what I wanted and gave her creative license and the cake was almost too pretty to eat. The three layer cake tasted as good as it looked as well. Jeanna is amazing. I got my wedding cake, cupcakes and white and pink chocolate covered strawberries done for my wedding. First, Jeanna was so easy to communicate with . I personally enjoy emailing more than talking. I did more emailing and she contacted back very quickly. I also spoke with her when I needed to. I was upstairs getting ready for my wedding so I didn't see who came to set up the dessert table but they did an amazing job setting up. It came out beautiful. From start to finish, working with Jeanna was a breeze! She was quick to return my inquiry on a shark themed cake for my 6 yr old's bday party. When I realized a 3D cake was out of our budget, she suggested a 2D, which was just as good! When I picked up the cake on the day of, I was so pleased :-) My son LOVED it and so did everyone else who saw it. All the other moms asked where I got it from. And best of all, turns out it was also delicious! The cake was moist, and the frosting a nice texture, too. The frosting was a little too sweet for my taste, but I was the only one who thought so. I ordered the cake for 30 people, but it easily could have fed over 40. Our RSVP list was larger than I anticipated, so Jeanna threw in half a dozen cupcakes for free! We didn't end up needing them, but the gesture was so sweet (pun intended!) I will definitely use Humble Pie again, and recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome, local, caring baker!!! More...

I ordered a Wall-E cake for my daughters 2nd birthday.  Jeanna was very responsive and professional.  She made the cake perfectly just as i requested, and it was delicious! Everyone at the party complimented the taste and design and asked where it was from.  We have ordered a second cake for our wedding and are no longer anxious as to how it will turn out.  I will add that she takes all payment methods including paying online and credit cards in person on her square! I chose HPD to bake a cake for my wife's 40th birthday party.  Initially spoke to Jeanna on the phone to answer some preliminary questions (everything from pricing to icing).  She was clear and very easy to work with and made some great recommendations. Ordered my daughter's first birthday cake here, & I truly couldn't be happier with the results. I provided her with specific examples of what I wanted and our theme. The cake and smash cake were perfection, not to mention the flavor profiles were spot on. You could tell quality ingredients & skill reigned in the end result. Everyone was gushing about the flavors and how lovely it looked.   Fit our theme & my vision perfectly. Jeanna even threw in some cake balls because she said the proportions weren't completely to her liking (but we didn't have a problem with any of it) regardless, the cake balls were a great addition to our party.  I would highly recommend her again. Oh and a plus! She's completely professional with her communication and response times, and no need to fiddle with going to the bank to pay for your order. She has squared. So convenient. Little things you don't think or worry about until you're scrambling to get everything done & don't have time to go to the bank.  Don't order a crappy Walmart cake with disgusting icing. We've all had those at some horrid toddler's birthday, and couldn't get that nasty oily film & taste out of our mouths for forever. Jeanna was an absolute champ!!! My fiance was set on having a 3D bus for his grooms cake, and other people actually turned us down because it was too big of a project.
Jeanna was the perfect one of the job! The day of the wedding I kept having people check if the cake had arrived yet, I was so eager to see the finished cake - and it was exactly what we wanted. Before we cut into the cakes I had to double check with our photographer that they had pictures of it, I could've looked at it all night long.

My son absolutely loved his Mario cake! She was easy to work with. A few days in advanced we knew the outdoor party would be rained out but she let us reschedual for the following weekend. Jeanna did a fantastic job! My order was pretty last-minute; I contacted her on Tuesday to fulfill a custom cake order by Friday. I didn't have a concept or idea in mind, I just gave her a list of "likes" and she got creative. She was helpful, very communicative, and flexible with my schedule. The end product turned out better than I could've imagined!! Everyone loved it, especially the birthday girl, and it was delicious! I'll definitely be using her again in the future. Quality of service, responsiveness, value and flexibility... ALL 5 STAR. My wedding cake was extremely elegant and beautiful! I listed professionalism as a 3. Bride, come prepared and know exactly what you want! I purposefully came into the conversation with an open mind and thought she would show me everything she could do and I would go from there, but that made the conversation very difficult. I expected her to lead the conversation but I found myself leading the conversation and asking her questions about previous wedding cakes. Jeanna is the best! We scheduled a few different cake tastings with other vendors, but when we tried her cakes, there was no question in our minds she was the one. Her buttercream is so light yet rich, we ended up getting a small 2 layer cake with tiramisu and nutella. I also wanted a henna design to match my hands on the cake. The cake showed up the day of the wedding on a lovely little cake stand that I rented from her, it was perfect! The design was everything I was hoping for and so much more, and the cake was sooooo delicious! I also found out that there was a personal family emergency that Jeanna had that day, yet she was so professional she got our cake done and her husband took off from work to deliver it. Overall, I do really like this vender. The owner sent me a list of cake flavors to pick from for the samples. While all were really good, we chose the white cake soaked in strawberry simple syrup with fresh whipped cream frosting and fresh strawberries in the filling. We did ask to have raspberries instead of strawberries, and she was happy to accommodate this request. We had a very specific vision for our cake with some unusual requests, but Humble Pie Desserts was able to do all of it for us. The appointment was relaxed and stress free. I was absolutely blown away by the groom's cake and bridal cake that Jeanna created for our Austin wedding! Not only were the designs impeccable, but the cakes were so delicious!
