What do you love most about your job?
I love being present to document the start of a new family as two people, two families join together. Video is such a compelling medium. it allows you to relive moments which aren't possible with photos. I enjoy using the audio from the officiant, bride and groom (vows) and speeches to tell the story of the day. i love that these films i make, will still be valid for the grandchildren to watch and show how young, spirited and in love you are on your wedding day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After shooting for other companies, I decided to start Hudson Filmr to have full control of my service. And that's just it....SERVICE!!! My goal is to provide you with first class service from the initial consultation til the delivery of the final video. Running my own business means I'm in control of how you experience Hudson Filmr.

Wedding Videography
In the months and years that come after your wedding, you'll look back and have memories. But memories fade, or sometimes get distorted. Pictures are great but don't always provide a full sense of the moment. With wedding films, you can relive those nervous pre-ceremony jitters, a grooms reaction to seeing the bride for the first time, the first kiss, toasts from special guests and crazy dance moves from your cousin etc. The list goes on. My service aims to capture, preserve, and present those funny, tense, subtle and romantic moments in a timeless style that you'll be proud to show your friends and family...and even your children and grandchildren one day.
Cinematic Family Portrait Films
These are films about your family and friends in familiar surroundings, usually a home or park nearby. Your location(s) are up to you. Since there is a 3 hour session time, try to choose locations nearby each other.
I started offering lifestyle films because I was already creating my own. Filming my son growing up has been a delight. Its great to see how big he has grown in such a short time. Having these precious time capsules of his life on video makes me so happy. His great-grandchildren will be able to see these films!
