We always make a point to stop here when we are in Flat Rock. The Loaded Sweet Potato and the Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich will both change your life. They have really good sweet tea too. Delicious little hole in the wall restaurant. We were in town to see a play and our friend took us here for lunch. Nice menu size. Plenty of options, but not overwhelming. The cheddar biscuits and cornbread are superb. How do they achieve a dense yet deliciously moist cornbread The brisket was absolutely juicy and just melted! This is in Flat Rock, NC. Quite a remark place for fantastic bbq. You order at the window beside a tree covered outside area where chickens roam. There are several bbq sauces you put on yourself from squeeze bottles. There is also collards, sweet potato fries, among other sides. This place is the best place to go to in Hendersonville for a reason. Always slammed with customers. The best part about this place is you always see the owner walking around cleaning up and saying hi to everyone. He knows how to run a great business!

Very good food in a laid back at atmosphere. Outdoor seating only and only accepts cash or check- no cards. But there is an ATM on site. Will definitely go back.

I was in this area from Florida visiting some family . They suggested that we definitely try this place before we leave and so glad we did . By far one of the best BBQ places I have been too. The ribs were better than any I have ever had. We cleaned our plates and even took a couple racks on back to Florida. Great place but closes early. Hubba Hubba recently catered my wedding and I couldn't be more happy with the food or service. Wedding menu included pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, and the mac and cheese. Oh man, what a gem. Every time I think I've found the best barbecue place around, I have to rethink all of my rankings. This one is a keeper.

Absolutely fantastic pork, and the price is good on all of the menu items. Plus, it's practically attached to the Flat Rock Bakery for dessert purposes.

It's CASH ONLY (or check, but it's 2017, so cash only), so be aware of that. There is an ATM on site, but obviously you're better off coming prepared. More...
