It was a perfect storm. After the wedding, my car got totalled, and my phone quit working. I had no way to contact my client . I finally found my client's Facebook account. I posted the link to her photos on facebook page, and got no response. I send the link to her in messenger and she gave me a thumbs up. I also send the thumb drive to her per our agreement. I have replaced my phone and the car problem has been resolved. I have been doing this for a very long time. So do not judge me on one disgruntled client, Judge me on the quality of my work. I have been trying to contact my client to clarify if I provided enough additional benefits to her satisfaction, and I am still waiting on her updated response.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
One needs to have the right temperament to be wedding photographer. One must be patient and upbeat. I have the talent needed to put some one in front of a camera, and get them to have a natural smile. All weddings should be to a great event, and I'm there to record this joyful occasion. My goal is to record all the different emotions through my photography. A weddings is one of the most challenging events to photograph. If you can photograph a wedding. You can photograph almost anything.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I need to know what type of photo shoot it is going to be and how many people will be in the photo, and if it is indoors or outdoors? This will help me make sure I bring the appropriate equipment. ( If the photo shoot is outdoors. I would like to know if there is a plan B if it rains. )
What do you love most about your job?
The highlight of my day is working with such a large variety of people. And there are so many different photography lighting set ups that can be used. Ranging from natural light to using multiple lights. The style can range from a typical portrait to something very dramatic. Depending on the goal of the photo shoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I admit, I like working for myself and being able to hand pick the projects that I choose to photograph.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have been taking photos for over 40 years. I photographed anything from weddings to motorcycle races. The more experience one has the better understanding one will have with lighting and composition to take a great photo. Over the years, I have received a few small awards. I have had the cover photo on a small trade magazine. I have been published in a coffee table book. Recently, I was hired as a still photographer on a short film, and the director choose one of my photos for the film's poster.

The only online service that I can provide, is that you have access to purchase prints or down loading the digital images.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The only impact Covid-19 has had on my business. Is that I now wear a mask.
