That's a difficult question because there's a lot I love about my job. The contribution I make is vital, working closely with the management team to aid in making decisions which ultimately influence the overall success of the business. I enjoy the challenge; I enjoy the responsibility and I enjoy the methodical and precise approach which HRUK operates with.

I was looking for a company to help outsource some HR functions & it became clear very quickly that there was not one company in the UK that offered a fully bespoke and tailored recruitment/search and selection service and a range of staff training that includes fully funded apprenticeships with a nationwide provision & online fully accredited CPD courses.

Introduction

The AEB is the SFAs budget that covers funding for all qualifications that do not fall into the advanced learning, Apprenticeships & European Social Fund. Its principal purpose is to engage adults and provide the skills and learning they need to equip them for work, an apprenticeship or further learning.

Most importantly all of these courses are FREE of charge to the employer and employee!

Learner Eligibility

The learner is either a British Citizen or has lived within the EU for the last three years
The learner was 19 as of the 31st August of the academic year you are in
Must NOT be in any other form of government funding training. Learners can only enrol on one course at a time, however, can partake in as many as they like consecutively.

Learners with any of the below are exempt from the three year rule:

Refugee Status
Discretionary Leave to Enter or Remain
Exceptional Leave to Enter or Remain
Indefinite Leave to Enter or Remain
Humanitarian protection
The husband, wife, civil partner and child of any of the above in this paragraph
Asylum seekers (Have been in England for the last 6 months).

NB: All learners must show you a copy of ID which can be either a passport, driving licence, birth certificate or national identity card. If the learner was born outside the EU, they must have proof of their residency status and you will need to obtain a copy for our records.

To qualify, all prospective candidates must:

Be aged 16 to 65
Have a UK Bank Account and National Insurance Number (Funding can be offered to Foreign Nationals provided that they do hold a UK Bank Account and National Insurance Number)
Be working 16 hours or more per week (Paid or Voluntary work)
Be working in the field that the qualification is in eg. To do Health and Social Care you must be working within the care sector
Not have a Degree or currently be in receipt of Government Funded Training. We can fund people with a Nursing Degree depending on the course you wish to do.

Employers will have to contribute 10 per cent of the cost of training an apprentice, and the government will ‘co-invest’ by paying the remaining 90 per cent for levels 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 providing the above criteria is met. A further advantage to the funded training we offer is that there is very little impact on your staff’s working day, as most of the work can be completed out of work with only the assessments being required to take place at the place of work.
