What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety of working with the SME market in particular because I feel we are attuned to the unique challenges faced by small business owners and are uniquely placed to develop creative solutions to HR problems. I feel inspired working with talented entrepreneurs and business owners to create a sustainable HR service that is flexible and adaptable to the small business needs. I love dealing with the wide variety of HR problems faced by the small business and developing a solution that meets the needs of the clients business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business having worked in corporate HR for several years and I felt that the SME market lacked the support that larger corporates sometimes take for granted in having an in-house HR function. I felt that my skills and experience in a variety of industry sectors and my partnership approach to client HR related issues meant that I could quickly build credibility and add value to my clients business. I wanted to create a service that supported small business owners with sometimes critical and confidential HR matters, when they needed it and at a price they could afford.
I created a sound business offering to support SME's with their HR issues and built on that to offer more and more HR services alongside the core offering and for those businesses that wanted extra resources to implement additional HR projects for example.
