As an SME owner myself, I really enjoy helping other business owners to protect their business and free them up so they can get on with doing what they are good at, not being bogged down in HR red tape and wondering what to do. The satisfaction we get when a client is reassured that we will manage a difficult situation and that they needn't worry is very satisfying. We really like working on-site with clients, but most of our work is done remotely.

As an independent HR consultant my income and work was very much peaks and troughs, I found the HR Dept in the UK, researched their model and was duly impressed with the range of services and products they could offer their clients. Offering SME's the kind of HR solutions and products you would normally find in large companies and multi-nationals really inspired me to forge ahead and open the Irish office in 2013.

Our advice is documented by email, clear, and insured. We won't shy away from giving advice to dismiss if it is warranted & If we (you and I) end up in the WRC, your legal representation costs (solicitor and barrister) are covered as well as the award sum to the employee if we lose. The insurance policy is truly exceptional and not on offer from any other HR company.
There are some exceptions of course, but nothing sneaky, for example if you are paying someone less than the minimum wage, we are not going to pay for that!

The benefit to the employer is increased productivity if employees can sort out any personal issues in life quickly, they can be happier and more productive in work as they have less to worry and distract them. We think its a nice thing to do too for very little cost.
