I left a holdall for repair and totally forgot about it. A year later I collected it with the zip perfectly repaired and just in time for my holiday! They are the only ones I trust with my favorite shoes and boots, and they've brought several well loved shoes back from the brink. The guys at Hoxton shoes did what other said could not be done. A pair of very loved, but tired looking, pair of Doc Martens needed a serious patching up job. "That was a tricky pair of shoes. But I managed it. 'Cos I'm the best." The voice on the phone was full of laughter and pride. I laughed along and confirmed a pick-up time for my freshly-repaired shoes. I had left two pairs of shoes, brogues and boots, to be re-soled. I picked them up, a couple of weeks later, and the craftsmanship of the repair was remarkable. The soles looked fresh out of the factory (in fact, I suspect the soles on the brogues are better than the original). I was also delighted to see that my old leather uppers, with all the character of a few years of wear and care, had been polished to a gleam. The repair wasn't cheap. Nor was it particularly fast. But if you love every nick, scratch and bit of polish on your favourite pair of shoes, bring them here. They'll take care of what needs done. And the cheeky Hoxton attitude comes free. More...

I brought in some very neglected shoes (on my part and I felt very guilty ) to be repaired. After giving me a good old lesson on never to treat my shoes the same way ever again and a couple of days later, I could pick up my beloved shoes restored to perfection! These gentlemen replaced the "non-replaceable" sole of my Italian made motorbike boot. Since then Ive tested it extensively riding well over 4000miles by riding around England and touring across Portugal, Spain and most of Italy before turning around and riding back again. I recently contacted Hoxton Shoe Repairs to get my favourite leather backpack fixed in time for a holiday. They were extremely helpful and were able to fix it that day! They explained 2 ways in which they could fix it and the price difference but didn’t pressure me to take the more expensive option. These guys are magicians. They managed to bring back to life a dead pair of boots of mine which everyone deemed unrepairable. I realise now they are a bit expensive, compared to other repair shops, however, for the location and their impeccable service, I’d say it was definitely worth it. Brilliant London based shoe repair shop! It may be a bit out of the way for me, but thus will always be my go to place for any show repairs. I took in a beloved pair of boots that I thought were on their last legs and unrepairable, but the people at hoxton shoe repair turned them into what feel like brand new boots! The boots were in seriously bad shape and needed a lot of work so it wasn't the cheapest job, however the care and craftsmanship is clear to see, and if I have any minor repairs needed in know the boots are covered by the guarantee and will be sorted free of charge (very important as I wear these boots each day).
Not only so they know their craft, but they understand customer service here and are all extremely friendly!
I have a pair of shoes that need the heels replaced and I know exactly where I'll be going to have them done!

I've been using this shop for my shoes several times. normally drop off my shoes at this place for either getting a rubber outsole on the top of the wooden outsole or to replace the heel when It get worn off. Really really satisfied. Even last time I dropped by there because insole was a bit came out and they just got that repaired for free. Overall, really good place to get repaired for shoes. These guys know what they're talking about! I treated myself to a pair of handmade English leather shoes for my wedding so I wanted to ensure I treated them right. After much deliberation, I decided I wanted toe and heel caps installed. Needless to say I was very apprehensive to take my shoes to just anyone so I went and saw the guys at Hoxton Shoe Repairs. The gentleman (regrettably, I didn't get his name) had a look at my shoes and then advised on what he thought I should do. Further to that, he went to the back of the shop and came back with the parts he'd use and explained how he'd do the work. My shoes were ready in a matter of days! When I picked my shoes up, the same gentleman went over the work he carried out and described the process to me in detail. I was absolutely stoked to see the incredible workmanship--they looked like they'd come straight from the original workshop! You can't even tell they have a topy and toe cap unless you view them from the sole side up. I highly recommend Hoxton Shoe Repairs and I'll be going there for all my shoe care in the future! I have a rare unique round vintage designer bag which unfortunately was falling apart due to the leather disintegrating, thankfully the friendly staff at Hoxton Shoe Repairs came to the rescue, they sourced the best quality calf leather to match the original, and now my beautiful bag looks like new. I sent my favourite boots to them for advice on the best re-heeling and they offered me various options and once we had decided they had them not only re-soled but polished to perfection in a matter of mere hours. Paul and Nick did a very professional job fixing the zip on a pair of boots and saved my much loved bass weejens - they had holes in them, the sole was destroyed, the stitching torn, but they are now better than new! I have never been happier!!

I had an issue with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, where I could not find a shoe repair shop anywhere that were able to fix them. My only other option were to return my shoes to Italy which would have been a gruelling 2 month process.

I live in Liverpool, but I came to Paul and his guys and the service that I received was just above and beyond.

My shoes were repaired to perfection.
I was kept in the loop at all times, they were very professional in their work and manner and delivered 100%.

The pricing is reasonable for the work that they put in and the end result.

I will never repair my shoes anywhere else from now on, the work they done was absolutely amazing.

I recommend this place to everyone, double thumbs up!!

The two gentlemen who run the shop were courteous and highly skilled in their trade. They completely revived my 3 pairs of ballet pumps that I love so much that I worked them to their death (totally guilty here). Their soles were mostly gone; and on one pair, there was just the welt left, the stitches were gone so the toe box was out of shape.
I was so surprised to receive back 3 brand new pairs of shoes! Can't thank them enough!

I cannot recommend this place enough.

I really thought it was time to part from my favourite Mulberry bag but Paul managed to bring it back to life and made it look brand new again. He replaced the broken clasp with an authentic one and managed to completely bring back the dark green colour.

Paul and the team really go above and beyond in terms of service, this combined with their superior expertise makes this place by far the best for repairs. They also did an excellent job on my Jimmy Choo and Celine shoes. More...

Words can't describe how happy I am to come across these wizards of leather, I cannot recommend them enough. I have a vintage Chanel bag that has huge sentimental value, chain broke, leather worn from fun filled use. Paul was so lovely when speaking to him understanding the love I have for the bag, I know silly to some!!The bag came back looking brand new, leather bright, the attention to detail from Paul has been incredible. Then to add to the smile the price was very good, I thought it would cost a lot more...I am slowly going through my wardrobe of items I thought I couldn't use anymore, its like getting new stuff that you loved all over again..
