Melissa refurbished 13 rooms of our home from the finishes and joinery to the furniture. She worked from concept to completion and redesigned the kitchen, bathrooms, utility room, living room, snug and bedrooms as well as designing bespoke joinery for several rooms including our walk in wardrobes. She assisted with the tender process and oversaw the building contractors through the build to completion. Lastly she meticulously designed and selected furniture, lighting, art and accessories for our home whilst taking into to account our taste and individual needs. She has created a beautiful and comfortable home for us that we thoroughly enjoy living in! What’s your interior design process?
1. Initial face to face consultation with client to assess project needs and budget.
2. Proposal and contract outlining fees and project scope sent and agreed with client.
3. Site Survey - Measuring and inspection of an area where work is proposed, to gather information for a design.
4. Initial look and feel board submission via email.
Look and feel board- An arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a style or concept.
5. Face to face Initial Design Pack review with client.
Design Pack- Final look and feel board, Furniture and Finishes Schedule and Plans and Elevations of spaces.
6. Final amendments of Design Pack submitted via email.
7. Final Design Pack signed off by Client via email.
8. Purchasing Phase- The period in which all furniture and accessories are purchased, delivered and stored.
9. Decoration Phase- The period in which walls, skirting, internal door frames are painted and carpets installed by the decorator and overseen by House of Sui Sui.
10. Installation and Dressing Phase - The period in which furniture is delivered on site and installed. The property is cleaned and dressed with art, plants and accessories.
11. Handover - The delivery of dressed office and walk through with the client. The client reviews and discusses any amendments (if required).
