Absolutely love this salon! My stylist Megan is heaven sent. She's a hair goddess when it comes to weaving, coloring and styling. I relocated from Nashville TN 6 months ago and desperately needed my hair done. I called around to multiple shops and each couldn't provide what I thought was simple service. I asked for a deep conditioning and to have a lace frontal wig colored and sewn in. Finally I reached Royalty and all my hair problems were solved. I have been going to the Royal T Hair Lounge to get my hair done going on 3 years now. Megan is the only stylist that does my hair although all of Royal T stylists are excellent at what they do. I have natural hair and it is a relief to have someone that is passion about what they do in regards to maintaining healthy hair. TONI HAS RENEWED MY FAITH THAT THERE ARE STYLIST WHO ACTUALLY CARE!!On 9.7.18, I went to House of RoyalT for the first time for a relaxer & a cut. I knew my hair was in bad shape when I arrived to my appointment but I also knew at this point, I had to take a chance and get over my fear of someone new doing my hair.While in Toni's chair, she educated me on do's and don'ts for my hair. She took time and showed me exactly where the damage was and assured me that we can and will get my hair back to healthy again and I believe her!Not only is Toni experienced but shes great at what she does. I had a woman named Netta cut my hair today. She was really sweet and did a really good job. I was scared because this was the only real hair cut I’ve ever had, but it went perfectly fine. I have really long thick curly hair so I wanted to go to a “black salon” because they know how to do my kind of hair. I am so relieved to have finally FINALLY found a hair salon that I enjoy! And it’s not just that I found one in San Antonio. ..i mean in my LIFE. The staff is incredibly courteous and respect the customer’s time. More often than not salons in the community will have you waiting anywhere from 30 min to 2 HOURS past your appointment. On top of that the customer flow is managed incorrectly and you’re sitting in the dryer section an additional hour waiting for your turn. I’ve been in salons where the wash area is dirty, the stylists don’t pay attention to you and at the end there’s a heavy push for product purchases. My experience at Royal T was the exact opposite and they make you feel like family. Pricing is reasonable and they carry Design Essentials; I love that they use inexpensive products because it makes it manageable for everyone.
