I was a little nervous to use a sitter at first as my neighbour had always looked after my birds but was unable to this time. I found House and Home Sitters through Facebook and gave Dave a call. He came back to me within a couple of days saying that he'd found a sitter for me. Peter was the perfect sitter and it suited him to stay as he was travelling to see different areas of the country so it worked out perfect for both of us. He kept me updated each day via whatsapp with photos of my ducks and chicken. I came home to a clean and tidy house and he'd even made my bed up for me so that it was all ready for me. I was worried about whether i'd find a sitter because i have a lodger but Peter was quite happy to live here for the week with my lodger and all was good. I highly recommend House & Home!! Having been let down by another agency we turned to Dave who provided us with great reassurance that we would still be able to have our holiday! Dave swiftly found someone near to us to sit our house and 2 babies (dogs). Sadly that sitter slipped and broke an ankle but Dave found us another sitter immediately.Sarah was great! Very confident and comfortable and provided us with the reassurance we needed to entrust our home and dogs to her. She also weeded our front flower garden as an added bonus which was a treat. House and Home Sitters LTD were fantastic. They stepped in the last minute to house sit our pets when we went on holiday. We were constantly updated during our trip and our house was emaculate when we returned . We had four very happy pets when we returned who were well looked after and our long haired dogs even groomed, which we were not expecting. We found House and Home sitters online through Google and contacted Dave Price about a 15 day house sitter for our two Maine Coons (Roxie & Wesley) while we were away for our Honeymoon. Dave was helpful and responded quickly to help find us a house sitter right away. Even though there were complications with the first house sitter, Dave made sure another sitter could stay and ensured we had an amazing Honeymoon.We were assigned Rita and John and we had a telephone introduction with them first before we met them again on the day before we flew away. They were very friendly and were happy to keep in contact with us via WhatsApp so that we could see how they were getting along while we were away.It was nice to see that Rita and John were both looking forward to caring for our two cats.When we returned, the house was left clean and tidy, so we could get back into a normal routine straight away.It was reassuring having someone at home caring for our cats and the house. David & Mei are the most wonderful trustworthy, honest, reliable good people.We have used their services many times for our beloved fur babies. Our dogs love them we have left them for 2-3 weeks with no problems, the dogs do not stress, they eat well, they get groomed and looked after as they would if we were at home. I found House and Home Sitters through a Google search and I’m very happy that I did. David has been very thorough, helpful and prompt with providing information and answering queries. It is great to know that all of the checks, insurance and other such matters have been dealt with by him so that all you have to do is book the dates. Elizabeth, the house and pet sitter was a total success - a very charming person with lots of animal experience who was at ease dealing with our dog. Previous dog sitters have not always found him easy! We appreciated the daily (amusing) updates and it was so relaxing to be away and know that both house and dog were in safe hands. Amazing! Another House and Home Sitters total success, this was the second time we have used them. We have three dogs, all lovely but two of them have very specific needs and the youngest (Eva) needs handling with kid gloves. David knew that our sitters would have to be experienced with dogs and soon put us in contact with their sitters Rita and John.We gave Rita and John lots of information prior to their arrival and explained that Eva would be anxious, barking and snappy when meeting them, but when they walked in there wasn’t one bark or any anxious behaviour. It was as if they knew they were in good hands from the outset.Both my husband and I were amazed, we have honestly never seen the dogs behave around strangers in such a positive way; all three were totally relaxedRita and John were unfazed by the situation from the beginning and couldn’t have dealt with the dogs in a better way. It was a fantastic find when I found House and Home Sitters; I cannot recommend them more highly, the service is wonderful. David organised Becky a wonderful sitter for us, I had absolute and complete confidence in her ability to look after our dogs, and she made us feel that we could go away without any worries.Previously our two elderly dogs had been to stay with a close friend when we went away, but lately this has not been possible due to their age and infirmity, which meant either my wife or I had to stay at home to look after them. But my daughter was running the London Marathon and we both needed to be there to support her. House and Home Sitters came to our aid, and having used them once now know we can enjoy some time away, without having to either take the dogs with us or one of us stay at home.Becky was superb, I had absolute and complete trust and reliance on her and her abilities, the dogs were wonderfully cared for, and it was a delight to have her there.If anyone is wondering, like we were, whether it was a sensible and safe thing to do, rest assured, I will do this again and recommend their service.
