Me and my girlfriend came for her birthday weekend and it was amazing! All I have to say is the costumer service is some of the best and Dave the front desk made this trip what it is he went out of his way multiple times to make things right and just one of the nicest people I have meet I give this place 5 stars because of him and will be back just because of him! Place was really nice outside pool area great food and drinks in the restaurant and the rooms are very clean and nice with amazing costumer service! Thank you Dave! More...

Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant is a great hotel. I really like the location that is at the base of the bridge and close to the everything in the Charleston area. It is easy to get to this hotel from just about everywhere and it is good for business and being able to work and have meetings. The pool area here is awesome and very relaxing. I really like the vibe and atmosphere of this hotel as it is relaxing and modern. The staff here is excellent and knows how to take care of their guests and does a good job of making sure that everything is right. I have had a good experience every time that  I have visited here and look forward to being able to come back here and stay again. More...

Had a great multi-night stay here the other weekend. Hotel isn't perfect but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.Pros: super convenient location (just across the ravenel bridge from dtown Charleston), recent renovations, good facilities (gym, pool, restaurant/bar), whole foods/trader joe's/shell gas/waterfront park a couple blocks away, free parking, and. .......Dave at the front desk (this man does his job exceptionally well! thanks for all the talks and recommendations!)Cons: wifi could be A LOT faster, hallways could be a little cleaner, creaking bathroom door upon closing, AC could be quieterI would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, mainly bc of overall value and proximity to dtown Charleston, as well as a ton of gems in Mount Pleasant (Boone Hall Plantation, Sullivan's Island beach, coffee shops & restaurants galore)Ty for providing a home base for our awesome first visit to Charleston! Spent 3 nights here in July. Comfy beds. Great breakfast. Beautiful pool area. 5 minutes across the bridge from downtown. Helpful and courteous front desk, especially Dave. Perfect!

We came here in March and weren't happy with the experience (very late check in). We asked for a discount and we were offered another free night. We took the free night over this last weekend and we were so impressed! Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and the staff was incredibly responsive. For full disclosure I can be 90% pleased in a hotel if it does nothing else but be quiet at night given how light I sleep. All other amenities after that are a bonus. The Hotel Indigo was a great stay in addition to allowing for a peaceful nights rest. The Hotel was recently renovated and its bar, restaurant and pool space were enjoyable for our time there. The pool is beautiful and surrounded by plenty of chairs that are not overcrowded and allow for some privacy even if busy. The location right across the bridge made getting into Charleston a breeze without having to worry about parking fees in other downtown locations and for that I was very thankful. More...

We just checked out of Hotel Indigo. We had a wonderful two night stay. The hotel is quiet, clean, and well lit. The pool area is amazing and I can imagine a very nice place to be when it is warm! The one thing that I want to point out is how comfortable the beds are. One of the worst things about traveling to me are the beds. They always seem to be so uncomfortable. The Hotel Indigo beds are perfect. So much so that I told my husband we need to upgrade our mattress when we get home! I would definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Indigo. This is a nice, bright, clean hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. A former Holiday Inn, now an Indigo. It is conveniently located, and easily accessible. I was a little concerned when checking in, because I'm not familiar with the brand. I had booked the room through a third party. I did see photos before I arrived, and was intrigued. I just needed a place to stay for the night, and did not try the bar or restaurant. As for my room, it was clean, serviced, and serviceable. This place looks and feels like an old bargain hotel with a new coat of paint, in some places a bit sloppily applied. Not exactly my cup of tea. packed up and left for Charleston on short notice and based on previous experience Indigo looked like the value leader for a long weekend when using some rewards points and some cash. The property is first exit off the bridge in Mt Pleasant... easy in, easy out with protected turns. Restaurant, bar, and fitness center on premises, plus a fancy pool with aqua-lounges! but daytime temps were stuck around 60 so no siesta :-(We were expecting to do a lot of touristing and snacking around town so giving up breakfast didn't seem like a big deal (lack of an in-room microwave is another story) and MLB is a fan of the bedding upgrade: firm and cushy plus better sheets. the jumbo walk-in shower makes clean up easy contributing to a better bathroom experience. IndiGO HERE'Ello chaps!Looking for a clean, affordable, accessible hotel near downtown Charleston?Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant is it. It appears the hotel is recently refurbed, rebranded, and reopened. The exterior of the hotel is well maintained and appealing. The interior is clean, modern, and comfortable. A notice in the elevator gave a clue that this hotel was likely refurbished and reopened not long ago as it does have a bit of a "new" feel. The elevator notice showed a 2015 inspection for a Holiday Inn hotel. That would make sense, since Holiday Inn owns the Hotel Indigo brand. We were quite impressed with the rooms themselves. They had a bit of vintage with the decor and furniture in the rooms. They are spacious rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Even more appealing than the comfort -- and surprisingly low room rates -- is the location. Hotel Indigo is technically in Mount Pleasant, an up and coming community of metro-Charleston with many restaurant and shopping options. TIP: Hotel Indigo IS Pet Friendly!Bringing your pet and want a spot to take a walk (or just take a jog?). Hotel Indigo is located just about two minutes by foot from the nearby Mount Pleasant Waterview Park --- which is a large boardwalk and park area beneath the Ravenel Bridge (that's the big bridge linking Mount Pleasant and Charleston). Also a short walk to the entry point to walk the pedestrian side across Ravenel Bridge. Not to mention it takes just about 7 minutes by car to get from the hotel to downtown Charleston's touristy market area. Overall: I give Hotel Indigo FIVE Cheers out of Five. They're pet friendly which alone is worth a thousands points, plus they have very friendly staff, super comfortable accommodates, fantastic location, all at a great value. My boyfriend and I decided on a spur of the moment trip to Charleston about two weeks ago and chose Hotel Indigo as our place to stay for the night! I don't think I've ever stayed in a more beautiful hotel. The decorations throughout the lobby and in our bedroom were so fun and unique. The staff was so sweet and so helpful! We woke up for breakfast and ended up getting down there as they were cleaning up. (We woke up a little late) We were bummed because we didn't think we were going to be able to eat breakfast but the ladies insisted and started helping us fix our plates. I felt bad because I work in a restaurant and didn't want to inconvenience anyone but everyone helped us with smiles and a good attitude which I really appreciate!
