This 3 star hotel is just what you want as a 3 star. It has the most perfect location in New Quay. The public areas are large and relaxing, and if you fancy playing on the grand piano you can. The food is well in the star grade, and the owners are at hand to help you if needed. It has free off site parking too. An indoor and outdoor swimming pool, ten pin bowling and a billiards table and bar. Helpful and friendly staff, I think if some reviews are too critical they need to remember it's star rating, room rate and all you get for their money. Beautiful estrary that has easy access down the road or a harder one next to hotel. It is really magical with a price that matches. More...

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night.
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
'This could be heaven or this could be Hell'
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face.
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (any time of year) you can find it here
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain,
'Please bring me my wine'
He said, 'we haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty-nine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say"
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face.
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise), bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said, 'we are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
'Relax' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check out any time you like,
But you can never leave!'

A quite hotel set back from the heart Newquay providing both the night life if you wish to seek this but also the beautiful views this location has to offer. The hotel is dog friendly and they even get a sausage at breakfast. The meals here also Good, all home cooked, menus produced daily to reflect local produce sourced that day More...

The hotel itself is lovely and a beautiful location. Could do with a re-vamp tho, the decor unindated. Our room was a bit small for 3 people, well 2 Adults and one 7yr old, but we all slept well comfy beds.
The room needs decorating.
Breakfast was lovely, full English breakfast or continental if you wanted something light. We didn't eat the dinner there as my son is very fussy but the menus we saw looked very nice and appetizing.
The staff were all very polite and helpful. We would certainly stay there again and we would recommend to our friends and family.

Fabulous views from the rear of the hotel.
The gardens and pool area need some TLC.

This Hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings.
The views from the rear of the hotel are spectacular.
I used to stay at this hotel many years ago.
The hotel has all the modern facilities available.
However; I have to say that the gardens are unkempt to what they were 30 years ago. And the pool area is disgusting!
The hotel needs to set on a handyman gardener and his focus being, "Cleaning up the Outside areas!"
The inside of the hotel is fine. It's just a little bit sad for me, that the outside space sits in such beautiful scenery. It needs to blend in, and not stand out.
