We stayed at this beautiful RV Park Nov 2- 5 this year on our trip from Texas across the US, and we were truly sorry to leave. We have joked about turning around and going back! The entire park is very clean, and so quiet all the time. Even at night we felt as though we were alone. The bath house was awesome! Everything was so clean, regardless of the time of day or night. We have not had the same quality of stay, nor have we enjoyed the camps since we left Hot Springs. We have decided that we will visit Lake Catherine again in the near future. This is by far my favorite hot springs in the Sierras! I prefer my hot springs to have amenities and this one truly does not disappoint. They have a locker room with great showers, cubbys for your belongings, and hooks for towels, etc. Right outside (just a few steps-in case you're going during snow, you'll be fine. yes, even sans clothes) you'll find the silent meditation dome with a huge Buddha inside and beautiful stained glass windows facing the sun or moon. The hot pool in there features a sand covered bottom which is amazing. It reaches temps of 108-115 degrees and is exceptional. There are 2 cold plunge tubs in there too. Outdoors you'll find a large warm pool that's usually around 99 degrees. There's a deck with poolside chairs you can relax in with a great view of Sierraville. Off behind all that you'll find the sauna - recently remodeled in 2016 and superb. Heat up to 160 degrees with a shower right inside the same building. All in all, I LOVE this place and try to take as many friends as I can up there to enjoy the relaxation the hot springs provides. There is no better sleep than the night after a soak. More...

Nice campground, one of the nicest we’ve been in. Large long sites, level concrete pads and blacktop roads throughout the park. Has boat docks with boats and kayaks for rent. Also has a zip line facility in the park. All sites have a fire pit, picnic table and BBQ. Staff is nice a friendly. Park is close to town and attractions. Highly recommended. More...
