Hot Dog On a Leash is awesome! They know what they are doing and we got exactly what we paid for- well trained and obedient dogs. I have 2 young labradors who were unruly yet sweet when we started with Hot Dog On a Leash. I admit the training was hard and required a ton of work at home but it works...seriously it works. Hopefully, our dogs will be with us for 10+ years and now our time together will be much more enjoyable. The investment in good training can be life changing for both the owner and the dog and I personally would recommend this company to anyone. More...

Hot Dog on a Leash truly gave our family complete control, freedom and confidence with of our dogs Berkeley (Lab mix) and Hawkeye (Golden Retriever). We chose to enroll both dogs into the Advanced Training program and it's one of the best things we've ever invested time/money in. Randy and Heather were both great to work with, flexible and the communication was always great. I have a very smart dog and have been able to train him to do a lot of basic commands and tricks on my own, but I finally came to the realization that I needed help from a professional trainer. After just a few weeks, my dog went from having very low self esteem and scared of everything- constriction cones, people, you name it, to a much more confident and happy pup! After such a short time he's even walked up to neighbors we've seen every day for months, and actually let them pet him! He would bark at my roommate who has lived with me for over five months, and act like he never met her when I wasn't home but now he greets her with a wiggle butt and listens to her when I'm away at work! Heather and Randy are extremely professional and knowledgeable, and they blew me away with how spot on they were about what my dogs needs are, even with having very little information about him! They addressed all of my concerns about their method of training (you always hear the horror stories about dog trainers) without me having to explain my life story. I wish I would have started training sooner. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should do the training, trust me when I saw your quality of life will be so much better when you do! l don't recommend anyone but Hot dog on a leash. We have been taking our dog to Hot Dog on a Leash for almost three years. When we moved here we had adopted a German Shepard from a rescue in LA. He had no manners, knew no commands and was almost fully grown and capable of taking me for a walk vice me taking him. We were desperately seeking someone who had reliable experience with High drive dogs. We interviewed 5 people before we decided on HDoaL. Within months our boy was walking nicely on a leash, sat on command and we could enjoyable take out. We just adopted another dog, this time a puppy and he has already learned basic commands and adores his time at dog camp with our Shepard while we work. You can see the employees adore all the dogs that go to camp and Heather and Randy have a true heart for dogs. Our pups can not contain themselves when we turn on the street to dog camp and are out the door and straight to the gate before I can lock the car. My boxer-americas bulldog, Potato, and I LOVE Hot Dog on a Leash! We take scenting classes with Heather, and Potato plays at daycare. Heather breaks the lessons down so the games are fun & progress with Potato finding challenges and successes in each session. And I can't say enough at how much he loves to play at the day camp. The area is huge and clean! Lots of room for the dogs to frolic and let loose. They are well supervised with a really lovely group of dogs & staff. Awesome environment, awesome experiences! More...
