I have been a client with Horwich CBT for some time now and would like to share my own experience with others. I was a little anxious as I arrived for my first session but it was amazing just how quickly I felt so relaxed and able to engage with Angela. I've been through some tumultuous times in my life and often felt that I could not see my way forward through life but this lady truly helped me and there was never any rush. Angela has been amazing throughout, instrumental to my well-being and has helped me live a happy balanced lifestyle. I hope this review helps and encourages others to follow my journey. You will not regret it. More...

Q&As

I love working with clients. I enjoy building good therapeutic relationships and teaching clients new skills to move forward with their life. I love seeing how effective CBT can be, especially when the client initially presents unsure how effective it would be. To be working in a role where I am able to help people with similar problems to the ones that I saw first-hand with a member of my own family, and which were cured with CBT, is unbelievably rewarding. Seeing people change their lives for the better and knowing I’ve helped them do that is the best part of my job.

I was inspired to start my own business as a therapist so that I would not be restricted by company/NHS policies stating that only a set number of CBT sessions can be offered.
