Love this place! The staff are warm and welcoming. All of the hand pulled beers are excellent. If you like a nice pint then you need to go to the horse and jockey.
My favourite is a pint of stainless and half a pint of pork scratching.

Great pub, great selection of ales and gin. It's amazing how the place has turned out since Stancil took over. Only one request - I sometimes go at teatime for a pint and to read, but the piped music is really invasive, even though it's fairly quiet. Please could it be a quiet place until later on in the day?
