Hope's Happy Hounds

Would definitely recommend Hope's happy hounds -especially charlotte. stanley (my furbaby) loves her and being a rescue with a sketchy past which means he has a few behaviours, charlotte takes this in her stride and works hard with stanley to make friends and live his best life could not recomend her enough he loves her and so do we!! ❤

We have been using Hopes Happy Hounds for about a year now. Shane has been walking our dog Kanella every week day. Kanella is very excited to see him and you can tell he loves dogs. I come back home every afternoon to a very happy and relaxed dog. He is very flexible and reliable and I would trust him to stay over in our house to look after Kanella. He always cleans up after her and spends valuable time with Kanella despite the weather. He has never cancelled to us last minute and on the contrary he would take the extra step in trying to change his schedule to accommodate a last minute request from us which I do appreciate. What an absolute shambles Hopes Happy Hounds are,we booked a 2 night stay while we was away getting married only to find out on our return that Dan thought that our 3 dogs didn’t like him so he left them alone all night on 5th November. We had already asked for him to make sure that he stayed with them as they are terrified of fireworks.One of our neighbours was going to call the RSPCA & Police as the dogs where barking & crying ALL night,he didn’t even go back the following morning to walk them.I contacted Amy(the owner) about this & she thinks that it’s acceptable what Dan done,I replied to her email & she’s not even had the decency to reply.DON’T ever us Hopes Happy Hounds. I would highly recommend Hopes Happy Hounds When I enquired for help with my senior Malamute, I had a response within an hour and I had arranged to meet Shane later that same afternoon. Shane understood my dogs needs and was able start immediately even changing his day to pop in more frequently. Sadly she deteriorated more quickly than we would have hoped and is no longer with us, but Shane made those last few days easier for her with his care and understanding. Thank you so much ☺️ More...

I am not trying to say the people are bad people there. I’m sure the nurses/ doctor and staff are great people. haven’t had a lot of great experiences at this E. R. To start off the window acces is like ringing the bell at the emerald castle. Good luck getting through there even if your actively bleeding or having any kind of pain they basically send you to wait and don’t care unless your having chest pains don’t bother thinking you will be seen soon.My latest experience for instance. I sliced my hand pretty deep. No other patients waiting in the lobby after dripping a lot of blood for not super long on my clothes I went back up and begged for something to soak up the blood and all the sudden they were like well just come back here and we will do something for you. I was like yay. But then to my surprise they compression wrapped it and left me for 2 hours with not so much as a update while 3 people including the one who triaged me sit around and talked. Like they had nothing todo. I know they work but when I popped my head out and asked once they acted as though I was being impatient which I wasn’t but then I got impatient and said “if it’s going to be a long time I could goto eureka Saint jos” I’ve had my time wasted at this er before.. last time was 6pm till 2am in the morning. And no end in sight. ONE DOCTOR ON STAFF means you get put to the end of the line constantly. My bp at first was 166/103. Also hyperventilating from pain witch I told them I was in over a hour ago at that point. I’m sure my bp was way worse but not so much as a status check on me!! I honestly went back in for another half hour and listened to a doctor talk to the patient right next to me who was doing nothing but wasting his time. She had no idea why she was there had a infection or something I’m sure it’s a private conversation but why do I have to hear it!!!?? It was making me more uptight as he pain stakenly asked her a myriad of questions with no real answers. Over time he finally got all he needed I thought. But still never even a peep from anyone by this time I’m so over this I wanted to leave. I’m Still not even checked in with a bracelet or nothing. Not even been looked at by the lady who wrapped it up witch I guess they will bill my Insurance a couple grand for. As a last and final slap in the face these three lady’s who had been sitting there talking for almost 2 hours at this point we’re discussing there lunch plans. I peeked out and just asked to use the restroom witch was two doors from me. “The one who wrapped me said someone was in there”. Cool ok I can wait. So I ducked back into my curtain anyways I heard a familiar sueak and knew that had to be the bathroom peaked my head out and saw a nurse that most likely had left the restroom. These women saw me walk over to restroom and the door was locked. They desided to tell me it was still occupied as if I should know. I’m weirded out but not clueless and assumed nurse had been helping someone. Ok no biggy walked back to room. Now I’m a big guy I can hold it. But then I hear the door squeak again so I popped my head out and there’s a lady standing in her shirt but no pants so I immediately went back in and out of the corner of my eye see that nurse bring her a robe. Now at this point I’m not poking my head back out for nothing but I’m really at my last straw these three,the one time I asked how long chastised me for bringing up eureka like your wait will be longer. And honestly it never has. So now I wait in pain BP god knows how hi needing to goto the bathroom. A few minutes goes by but no door squeak or nothing so I poke my head out one last time and bathrooms wide open and vacant. I’m over it at this moment these people who I’m sure became doctors nurses or assistants etc.. I assumed cared about people. But couldn’t bother to say hey bud the bathrooms open? I honestly just told them to forward any info to the eureka hospital witch had zero wait and 3 docs on staff and several nurses and great personality’s that offered me a bracelet immediately and Updates! Most of the staff was really nice and I wasn't waiting as long as I would have in eureka but the nurse was very rough on my IV. First she put the needle in my arm and instead of putting it in and pulling out all the way if the vein rolls she just kept moving it in and out even though I asked her to stop from pain she kept going. After putting the needle in she asked if it hurt and when I responded Yes she shrugged it off and continued hooking me to the IV. I was in more pain than before from 7:30 to about 9:30 because I was in pain to begin with but because of the pain from the IV that was causing me to cry from pain that no matter what she refused to do anything for it. And she even refused to listen to my mother who was the one who took me in. And when she took out the IV she jammed the needle in my arm, may not have been on purpose but she did it, and she angled the needle too before pulling it out very quickly causing me to start bleeding and then she put everything on to stop the blood, including latex tape, WHICH I MENTIONED I WAS HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO so when I got home my entire arm was in so much pain and had a huge bruise on it from the IV and a rash from the tape and all of these kept me up all night so I couldn't sleep. Great visit and they determined my illness which was great but the nurse made me surprised she even graduated college. More...

Absolutely the worst visit I have ever had. Wait 3 to 4 hours for a Doctor to diagnose me off his cell phone.... then the relentless billing afterwards. .. 2100$ for the room, and almost 2900$ for the web md doctor. What a joke More...

I've been to the Emergency Room three times in 13 years living here. Once with my son with a broken wrist, once with a friend requiring 21 stitches across his forehead and once for myself. Each time we were taken in immediately and processed through x-rays, cat scans, traction etc. (as needed) as quickly as possible by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
