Abi was recommended to us and what a recommendation! We have three rescue dogs, and this was our first time having a dog sitter. The dogs previously went to a relatives for holidays but having adopted a new rescue dog that had already been passed from pillar to post we thought it would be more reassuring for her to be looked after at home. Abi was great, she took the time to settle the dogs and catered to their little differences. We saw regular pictures of how they were getting on and it was clear to see they adored Abi. She was not just great with the dogs but helped to reassure an anxious fur mum that not only were the dogs ok, they were loving their fuss and having fun Abi is super professional, trustworthy and reliable and we could not have asked for a better person to care for our dogs whilst we were away. Abi looked after our 2 cats for a week. This was the first time we'd used a cat sitter so we were understandably anxious. The older one tends to do a disappearing act every time we go away yet with Abi she was home every day for her dinner . The younger cat is incredibly timid and doesn't really like people but took to Abi straight away. Loved seeing the pictures when we were away and came home to 2 happy cats. After losing my previous dog walker, who moved location I was struggling to find a replacement and was starting to panic. Then I came across Abi, what a godsend, I wish we had known about her earlier . Unlike many other walkers who put the dogs in a van and then in a field for an hour, which I think in hindsight my dog actually found quite stressful, Abi actually walks with the dogs. My dog Bodie has changed so much since walking with her, he’s definitely increased in confidence and is much better with other dogs. She is really good with him and he comes home tired and happy, you can’t really ask for more. I know I can trust her with him which I think is really important. I cannot recommend Abi enough for everything she has done for us. After three previous unsuccessful dog walkers, I was starting to lose faith (especially as the last one we were really unhappy with), until we found Abi. I knew from the moment she came to our home to meet our dog, Woody, and us that she was brilliant. She clearly had experience and a lot of knowledge on breeds of dog, training and understanding each dog's needs. Abi has been walking Woody for three months now and it's been great. She's super easy to contact, talk to and is so flexible, which has been great for our schedule. Woody loves her and loves being walked with his little group of friends (proud dog-mum moment!) She's even dog-sitting for us when we get married in June, so if that doesn't prove that we love and trust her - I don't know what does! I seriously can't recommend her enough, she's amazing and if you have a dog that needs walking, cat that needs feeding or any pets that need dropping in on - Abi is your girl! More...

Abi has been brilliant, getting to know our anxious collie over the last few months before we went away for the night. She was calm and caring and realised when Indi was barking for attention rather than being stressed. Our 2 shelties loved Abi too, wanting attention and cuddles from her. Emily has been absolutely brilliant with Ivy. Ivy fractured her leg and Emily was so flexible whilst Ivy was recovering. It is great to be able to go to work knowing Ivy is well cared for and Emily always contacts me if there are any concerns with Ivy. I couldn’t imagine a more suitable candidate to leave ones pet with or to have them walked or looked after by. I’ve seen first hand just loving and caring you are towards animals. When you took Mable in she was so nervous and hid under the table all the time, so many years with one family to then have to move bless her, you soon picked up on her characteristics, her likes and dislikes, and with in a very short matter of time Mable was loving life again, I truly commend you for that! I would without any doubt recommend Kath brimicombe-bloom, from Hopes Happy Hounds Harpenden, St Alban's & Luton to take care of your pets needs. My Labrador Swindon and Rex a jack Russell/ shih Tzu absolutely adored her .Rex knew when she was due to come and would watch for her coming up the road and then when he saw her would let Swindon know, both would then be waiting at the door. Kath took my two on some great adventures for over 3 years , and as Swindon got older she adapted there walks so that Swindon didn't get to tired,but sadly Swindon passed away before Christmas, at the ripe old age of 15. Abi is so skilled at what she does and her devotion to dogs is clear in the care she gives them.
