Very enjoyable Santa experience. The elf's and Santa we're friendly, enthusiastic and great with all the children. The show was funny and enjoyable to watch. We booked Max to DJ at our 10th wedding anniversary party. He was ace. Really easy to communicate with and very accommodating of all my weird and wonderful requests. We have hired photobooths from Hoopstar Entertainment twice this year, for 2 major events at our school (Graduation Ball / Summer Fair). For both events, Max and his team were brilliant - highly professional from the booking, to the set up and right through the events. The photobooth was a real hit, with pretty much all of our guests visiting the booth several times. The props and displays really added to the experience and an operator from Hoopstar Entertainment was there the whole time to assist with the experience.

Excellent communication before and during the event; great personality, fab with kids 😃

My son had seen Rob from Hoopstar at a couple of parties and requested “the Funny man” for his 5th birthday. I had no idea that was Rob so Max was very helpful in establishing who that was and fortunately he was available. Rob was brilliant and mesmerised both the kids and the adults. Kids can be a bit shy to start with at parties but as soon as Rob turned on the bubbles they were away. He is very engaging and kept their attention throughout. Myself and my family (2 boys) went to Santa's Merrily Muddled Christmas show and it was outstanding. All performers put in 110% and the show was creative and immersive. Mainly the children laughed and giggled throughout. I couldn't recommend more. We will be keeping an eye out for their other shows because this was top class and worth every penny. More...

I booked Max Hooper of Hoopstar Ent as DJ for several wedding reception parties (pre pandemic!), as well as recommending him as a DJ to one of my friends "important" parties, he has hosted/ran virtual childrens' parties for a friend - always professional but at the same time fun and not overpowering as some DJs can be! Please do believe the hype! Max led my 5 year old daughter's party at his venue in Bletchingly in Jan '22 and it was just brilliant! He kept 30 4/5 year olds entertained for the entire duration, apart from a little lunch break, by playing games, dancing, and even performing a little magic show with my daughter helping. Not forgetting the bubbles and snow machine which made for a great first foam party! She still goes on about the magic that she did and how she doesn't even know how she did it! I can't tell you how many parents commented favourably about the entertainment, not only at the party itself, but also later by text, one of which said "that man was so silly, he made a great party!". We opted to hire the horse carriage/coffee cart which meant that parents could buy a decent hot drink, which was one less thing to organise on my part. Max also offers the option of sorting out your party bags for a small fee which once again takes the stress out of the day! Max was also very understanding and flexible when there was a potential that our plans would have to change due to the dreaded covid hitting our household, which was a huge relief on my side. I so highly recommend having a children's party at Hoopstar's venue in Bletchingly if you want a fantastic, memorable, stress free event! Just do it, you can thank me later! More...

We held a joint birthday party for our son and a friend for their 6th birthday at the Art Hub. Wow! What a fun time we all had. Max was brilliant with the kids and offered up a fun-filled two hours including; dancing, party games (including the limbo!), snow machine, bubbles and a magic show! The kids loved every minute and there was something for everyone. Max was very accommodating, even providing us with a gazebo for extra outdoor space if we needed it and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped for our needs including a tea urn which kept the parents happy! I believe that customer service should be at the forefront of every business, so when in the past I had used children’s entertainers that hadn’t listened to what I had wanted, I was reluctant to use just anyone. When my sister decided to plan my niece’s birthday party right at the very last minute, I recommended that she use Max. She was expecting it to be very stressful as she had no idea on the theme that her daughter wanted. Max made the whole process very simple; he was easy to talk to and offered suggestions and in the end she went with his Disco themed party. Max arrived well in advance to set up, making sure that he was ready for when the children arrived. I don’t know how, but Max kept a group of 25 children of mixed ages entertained for over 2 hours. He was in control all the way through the party, which meant that the parents could also relax and enjoy the time. We even heard children saying it was the best party they had ever been to. We recently had a birthday party at the Art Hub for our daughter and her school friend. It was so lovely. We can not praise Max enough. I took my 8 and 6 year old children to see The Bogbunions Halloween Academy for little witches and wizards show at The Art Hub and it was fab. The crew members entertained the children thoroughly. They even thought of splitting the show, set up hands on activities for the children, get them moving and have them involved. My children were engaged and bought into the storyline in no time. We took my daughter and niece to see Santa’s Merrily Muddled Christmas. They had an absolutely wonderful time, thoroughly entertained and a lovely range of activities for an hour and a half. Santa and the elves were great, but all of the team were very helpful and the whole thing was well organised. Don’t waste your money or time!

Way over priced for what it is, cheap tacky and FREEZING with no heaters as you are sat outside!

Far better grottos for the same price or cheaper!!

Absolutely wonderful experience. I have been to two different Christmas events and this by far is the most affordable and interactive!
