As a super busy Matron of Honour unfamiliar with the geographical area where we were going to have the bride's bachelorette party, Michelle and her team at Honeydew were incredibly helpful at finding and presenting some great options for us, even in a more rural place like West Virginia. They have a great system and really know what they're doing! Once we picked the venue, Honeydew helped us coordinate and were very communicative. I really wanted that perfect wedding BUT my husband and I run two startups (basically we work 24/7) and simply we didn't have time to go through all the different options for every single detail of our wedding (I never thought there was so much planning involved in a wedding! ). Planning a wedding is apparently like having a part-time job, that's crazy! We didn’t know if we wanted to use a full-service planner but we for sure wanted a day coordinator, as the last thing we wanted was to be running around stressing on our wedding day. We spoke to a few planners, they were all very expensive and their wedding planning process seemed very inefficient and long with several meetings and phone calls. I felt like I might as well do it all myself...I was mega happy when I came across Honeydew, which was exactly what I wanted (for a great price too!!). They make the whole planning process easy. They update my profile with options according to my budget and style preferences, and then I went in and choose online (so much easier than being on the phone, exchanging thousands of emails). I loved my Honeydew experience! There were many times at which I would have given up on finding a vendor, but Honeydew persisted and got me exactly what I wanted! I used Honeydew for Hair and Makeup. Because of my East Asian features, I was very insistent on having a makeup trial before commitment to booking. I also wanted to find a makeup artist who has had plenty of experience with faces like mine, and wanted to see that in their online portfolios. Honeydew was so helpful in combing through tons of makeup artists, asking for their portfolios, and reaching out to them. Through this process, I also became very interested in an artist I saw on instagram. Initially, she cost way more than what than I was hoping for. This is a point where on my own, I would have stopped, but Honeydew was able to coordinate something with the artist, and I am so so thankful for that. After that, Honeydew helped me schedule my trial, asked how the trial went, and helped me with the contract process. As for hair, the process was very smooth. I picked one of the options Honeydew provided, and Honeydew helped with the negotiations, packages, etc. They communicated with the hair business owner, and I am very satisfied with this. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for wedding planning services! They always responded so quickly and thoroughly. As a very picky person, I was pleased with the amount of detail and thought put into every suggestion and email Honeydew sends. "Honeydew is a professional wedding consultant service. I say consultant because there have been plenty of times where I needed general wedding planning advice, and Honeydew was extremely helpful in this regard. The most useful part of Honeydew was helping us save time! We are planning a wedding in Michigan but live in California and it has been a struggle for us at times to get a hold of vendors at normal hours without it taking away from our job. It was great to have a task given to Honeydew on Monday morning and by that afternoon, I had an answer or a decision made. I love to check things off my list and it's been amazing that everything that we asked Honeydew to take care of, they checked it off quickly and efficiently. We would HIGHLY recommend Honeydew to anyone who just got engaged! We wish we would have met with Honeydew at the beginning stages of our wedding planning because we would have hired them to plan our entire wedding.
