My journey here didn't start good as i got over bothered about the fact that these guys themselves would not be the solicitors and i assumed that no party would accept its responsibility if things go wrong. However i couldnt be farther from truth as these guys (homeward ) actually belong to a guild of solicitors and have a 'supervisory role', through which, they assure a consistent level of service irrespective of who is handling the case.In my case i was getting impatient about the fact that my solicitor wasn'ttalking to me, however on just making a single complaint they promptly followed up not just once but next time by the manager and he made sure my problems would be sorted out, and VOILA!! within hours i had a call from my solicitor who acknowledged the issue and updated me with the progress of my application and assured me of a good service here onwards.Thanks Cordelia n Angus :) More...

I was very impressed with Homeward Legal. After spending an entire day on the phone to various different conveyancers, trying to get someone to answer my call, I was growing increasingly frustrated by how difficult it was to get to speak to a real person. But Homeward Legal answered immediately, and were very efficient in providing a quote. Consequently, I signed up with them straight away and paid a deposit.We were put in touch with a local conveyancer who has so far been efficient in dealing with our house purchase, and reasonably priced.Ideally, I would have preferred to write this review after the purchase is completed, but I will say that Homeward Legal took all the effort out of phoning round, and I am so far happy with our choice. Very efficient service with pleasant and helpfull first contact after such a good start I have unfortunately hit a brick wall . .. I was given PM Law as a solicitor with 2 branches one in Sheffield and one local to my home in Maidenhead .. last week we took all our paperwork inc passports to the maidenhead branch and everything was copied and certified .. however somehow they managed to lose my passport copy .. when I found out o tried to make an appointment to rectify it but was told it wasn't their fault and they were too busy to deal with it ... when I said I thought it was very unprofessional they were really rude and practically told me if I didn't like it go elsewhere ... Excellent Service from Homeward Legal. Mitchell remembered me even though our first sale had fallen through and we had had no contact for six months. The name of a conveyancing solicitor was emailed immediately along with a new quote of costs. Although we are now in the hands of the solicitor, we are able to contact Homeward Legal at any point should we have any queries..Extremely impressed with the efficient and proficient service. I was referred by homeward legal to the best conveyancer in the world ( clarks in wellington) which is 40 miles away from my house, everything was done via email, phone and post and i was kept up to date at all times. It does not matter how far your conveyancer is these days, it could all be done via email and post. Homeward legal are middle brokers They refer you to conveyancers that must meet homeward legals standards,If you are unhappy with the service you can complain to homeward legal at any time during the conveyancing process and they know how to deal with complaints properly, they could also refer your case to another conveyancer at anytime during the process, so therefore your money is not stuck and you have a choice at any time.Very happy and will use homeward legal again. The experience has been good so far but the Homward Legal advisor led me to believe the solicitors would be local, whereas their office is actually based some 300 miles away!
