Linda provided sandwiches, cakes & shortbread for a lunchtime buffet. All the food was well presented & labelled. The quality was of the highest standard, & many guests complimented the deliciousness & variety. Highly recommended.

Wow what can I say? I ordered a buffet and beverages for my Mother in Law’s wake. On speaking to Linda right from the start I was impressed by what she had to offer and her friendly approach and flexibility. At the wake she was faultless in serving the guests leaving me free to mingle. The food was absolutely amazing and I received numerous comments on how good it was. The sandwiches and savouries were first class and the cakes exquisite. At the end, everything was cleared away discreetly. Having seen Linda's cakes at a Christmas craft fair I asked her to do afternoon tea for 30 at my house for my 50th birthday. The food was delicious and beatifully presented. Well, what can I say, I am too a cake maker, but Linda’s cakes are just scrumptious!! She is definitely a top baker!! Makes a whole selection of different cakes (different to mine as mine are more novelty/wedding). Her brownies are amazing, and the lemon drizzle is fantastic!! If you need a cake for any occasion, or just to have with coffee/tea, I totally recommend. Linda made around 600 cakes for us for an event, they range from fruit, chocolate, lemon and more. They were delicious and our customers loved them. She also sourced some cake toppers with our logo on for us which were great. The service from start to finish was fantastic. I can now leave a happy review as both a sender and a receiver of these great cakes - firstly, I sent a tin of brownies (on recommendation from someone else) as a thank you to a client that I had been working with - they were both surprised and delighted! Now I've received my own tin of delicious brownies (which I am begrudgingly sharing with my Hubby!) - the brownies themselves are delicious and rich - and they come beautifully packaged- in greaseproof paper, tissue paper, beautifully tied with raffia ribbon and then inside a fabulous sealed tin. Linda made our semi naked, two tiered, carrot wedding cake and it was absolutely perfect. It looked amazing and was everything we hoped it would be. It tasted even better than it looked, it was so moist. Linda tailored the cake to what we wanted (raisins instead of nuts) and delivered the cake to our venue with no hassle. ‘Homemade by Linda’ is a quality business from the initial contact to collection of order. The assortment of cakes, which included chocolate, coffee and walnut and lemon drizzle were sumptuous. We are The Bridge to Hope, a CIC supporting a charity that provides services to the homeless, vulnerable and socially isolated people in Leicester. We have just launched a mobile coffee wagon to raise money to pay the rent, hot drinks alone are very good but marry them with one of Linda's homemade cakes and the result is heavenly bliss.
