What’s your interior design process?
On this first visit to your home or space, we'll spend around 90 minutes discussing excatly what you're looking for. We'll chat through the look, feel, functionality and budget - photographs of the space will be taken at this stage. Following that, a proposal of works and an estimate or quote of my services will then be sent to you. If work is commissioned, a detailed survey of the space will take place and you will then receive layouts of the design proposals with color options and sample boards. If other trades are required, quotes for their work will be collected and once agreed, a schedule will then be worked out and relevant trades booked in. Depending on how much involvement you want from me, I can liaise with the other trades and manage the design through to completion. Or, if you prefer, I can guide you through with as much involvement from you as you’d like. Every project is difference and my services are tailored to suit you.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I want to create an environment that people want to be in. . Drawing from a multitude of styles, layering the bold and the subdued, I aim for a relaxed, functional space that's inspired by you.
What do you love most about your job?
A delighted client. Genuinely. It’s a real buzz being able to make a difference:) And of course, the shopping. What other job allows you to buy tons of cool stuff, with other peoples money?!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Basically, I’d been talking about it since I was 25. Fear & doubt were my best friends until one day, I decided to evict them and take a leap of faith.
