The cleaners are paid directly by you at the hourly rate of £9.00. They work for a minimum of two hours per visit and they are happy to do laundry and ironing at the same rate. You would need to provide all cleaning products and equipment for the cleaner to use.

My sister paid 5 hours of cleaning last Saturday on the 26th February to clean my mum's house. It was supposed to be a lovely present for her when she comes back home.
We tidied up as much as we could but admittedly we do have a lot of bric-a-brac so when the cleaner came, my sister stayed to help the cleaner out by moving stuff away while she cleaned. She only managed to do a couple of rooms and she said that there's so much dust so she's been wiping dust. We emptied out stuff out of the cabinets while she cleaned the cabinets. On hindsight, we should've told her to just focus on the major cleaning that we found hard to do such as the vacuuming (we have thick carpets), cleaning cooker hoods and wiping grease from cabinets as in the end, we just wasted 5 hours of money for her to wipe dust which we can do ourselves so in the end after she left, the house was still left dirty as in the floor wasn't clean, kitchen wasn't cleaned, bathrooms still smelled, etc. Basically just a waste of time and money.
But that was not the worst part. The worst part was when she put the oven grills into a sealing bag with chemicals in it and just left it on the garden patio. She must've forgotten and just left it like that and we only realised the next morning when we saw slabs of our patio stones got bleached out! because the bag leaked chemicals all over our patio stones and bleached parts of them. We were really upset and called the company, but the company did not even apologise or even willing to take any sort of responsibility, but instead told us that we should claim it via our home insurance.
Accidents happen. We were willing to let this go but the fact that the company refused to take any responsibility or own up to their mistakes, and told us to take home insurance for their mistakes made us really upset.
The whole experience had been an absolute nightmare and we regretted it so much for even paying Homeclean to clean my mum's house because it made no difference and in fact damaged our patio slabs.

This is has been the worst experience of home cleaning I've ever had. The person who came to my flat was extremely rude and unprofessional, charged us more money that we already negotiated, didn't clean properly and after she left the place we discovered she had stolen from me. It can be hard work living with 4 dogs and 1 cat, the mess they produce on a day to day basis proves very tiring. Sandra however visits on a weekly basis (Trust me we need it) and she brings life back in to the house. Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
No and this is reflected in our price. Different clients like different products due to allergies or eco-friendly principles so we ask the client to supply the products of their choice.

What inspired you to start your own business?
