Meg my cocker spaniel has had two training sessions with Helen, because of her tendency to not come back when called in certain circumstances. Helen gave us great advice on how to work on her recall and came out on a walk with us to see her in "action". Helen is absolutely fantastic! Bailey loved his 121 sessions at home as part of the puppy package. We even had one of our sessions before we had Bailey; Helen taught us what to expect in the first few nights, what to buy and what to do when we first collect him. Bailey then joined the Growing Stars class where he built on the skills he had learnt in the 121 sessions. Bailey has transformed from a little furry crocodile to a very well behaved pup. Our Labrador has done both the little stars and growing stars. Couldn't recommend Helen any more she has a great kind nature to all the dogs and will go the extra mile to help. She has so much love for all the dogs and is so proud of them all when they achieve something new. Attending the classes has helped our girl, listen to us more and understand cues. Joining Helens classes was the best decisions we made and we are gutted there are no more classes at the moment but very hopeful for more in the future. Thanks for all the help Helen! More...

Myself and my wife recently brought Josie Mae our Cavapoo into the family. We were worried about training her as only 8 weeks old. So I took the plunge to look up puppy classes. I came across Helen and the best money spent . She is a fantastic trainer and all the things she has shown us has worked it amazing in a 6 week period the change in our puppy. I did the puppy class with my 10 week old Lab and son who has just turned 4. Helen was that good that my son can recall our dog perfectly when we walk. Teddie, my husband and I loved our sessions with Helen, Teddie (our cockapoo) has learnt so much and his confidence has increased massively. Our French bulldog, Louie, was only 10 weeks old when we enlisted Helen's help, we didn't really have a clue how to start training him, or what we should be training him on. The first visit, Helen was with us for 2 hours. She is lovely, down to earth and very approachable, which was great as it didn't make me feel silly with the questions I had. Helen demonstrated all the training techniques in a very professional but easy to understand style, she explained everything to me before and as we were training Louie, and included my two young sons in the session, so that they also understood how to behave around Louie. Louie now loves his crate which has given me great relief when I have to leave him, I was shown how to walk Louie and encourage him when he decided to sit down in the middle of the road and refused to move! We have since had a further two sessions where Helen has helped us with improving eye contact, door politeness and hand targeting to improve Louie's focus. This really has given us the confidence to continue with Louie's training as he grows. She is an incredibly passionate and well-informed trainer and educator, and in no time had Louie paying attention and responding. Louie's progress since the first training session is so encouraging. Helen left us with lots of advice and training exercises- not just for the dogs, but for us the owners too! More...
