Emilie from Home Methods took the lead with several projects to prepare our condo to be move-in ready (we lived in Austin and moved to Baltimore). We could not have accomplished so much without Emilie's help and expertise (new closet doors and organizing system, carpeting, touchup painting, window treatments, utility closet, and such). Emilie coordinated and facilitated work from start to finish (estimates, vendor selection, and installation). She went above and beyond in carrying out her work. I'd love to work with Emilie again! Emilie is incredible! She created a fantastic design that incorporated our preferences, desires, and style, while still giving us many choices and options along the way. My husband contacted Emilie to work with me to decorate our master bedroom. I had a great time working with her on this project - she spent a lot of time listening to what I was looking for and ended up putting together a room we absolutely love.

I can't give enough stars to Emilie/Home Methods. She was so easy to work with and understood my style and needs immediately. When I encounter obstacles with any of the pieces in our plan, she went above and beyond to help me pivot on the design. She even went out on a Saturday morning and bought me lamps when all the other options were sold out online. Emilie was a huge help to me when I moved into my new apartment. I didn't have much furniture, wanted to get past my college sense of style (read: beanbags and tray tables) and she walked me through the process of buying key items. She came out, looked at the space, took measurements and then created a few different floor plan options for me. Throughout the process, she found items online that I might like and even went shopping with me to help me pick out pieces that would work long-term, while managing to a tight budget. We had the opportunity to work with Home Methods, while we thought we had an idea of what it would take to design a multi purpose room for our family, The consultants at Home Method offered a practical blueprint in terms of painting, ordering materials , etc. While the project was not fully completed due to our constraints Home Methods provided us with everything we need to complete our project within our budget and most importantly we love our redesigned basement. I needed someone to help me organize and place wall decor and small furniture like lamps after we made some changes in the way we were using some of our rooms. I was having trouble transitioning my things so they made sense. Emilie helped me see ways to use things and even helped me finally put some sentimental art and objects on display. We started with a home visit where we talked and assessed the problem at hand . The home visit was so great . It was not rushed and she took a great interest in my project .
