My dog jasper stayed with Nicky for a week and he had a great time. I was nervous about leaving him as it was his first time away, plus he’s quite big and only 1 so is still rather boisterous. Amazing service! Millie and Frankie went for a little holiday whilst we got married over the weekend and they had the best time! We were sent loads of photos and updates throughout their stay and they looked really happy! My two have never been to any sort of doggy daycare or kennels so I wasn’t sure how they’d be, but they had an amazing time! Rory has just returned from a week with Julie and Ian. They went above and beyond with the care that they gave him! He was welcomed into their home and treated like one of their own dogs. Rory loved playing with Charlie and Lola and we received daily messages/ photos of him. The service provided right from enquiry to picking him up was fantastic! We have been using Kevin's services for just over two years now - walking and boarding - and have no complaints. Kevin is always friendly and always professional and understands dogs. Our dog loves Kevin and he knows all her foibles. She comes back from her walks tired, having been both physically and mentally stretched, and sleeps for the rest of the afternoon. When she comes back from boarding with Kevin, she is glad to be home but, the best bit is that she is happy to go and stay with him time after time. Truly a Home from Home! More...

Kevin has been caring for our precious 9 year old West Highland Terrier Bracken in his home whenever we need overnight or extended holiday period "home from home" care. It is clear that Kevin loves and cares for all the dogs in his care, exercising them regularly, ensuring that they play and socialise with each other in an appropriate manner and is sensitive and professionally caring in meeting all their individual needs . Above all when Bracken stays he is treated as a member of Kevin family in a lovely, spotlessly clean home with all the similar affection - and dare I say spoiling - that he gets from us. Bracken is happy going to stay with Kevin and is always well behaved and content after his holiday. It is a brilliant service that Kevin provides. Kevin has been looking after our dog for nearly a year now and he is always excited to see him when the van turns up :-) Not only that, we had some behavioral issues with our little chap and Kevin spent a great deal of time helping us with training tips and recommendations. We have used the dog walking service for around 18 months now and have never had any issues at all, on the contrary, Kevin is extremely reliable, friendly and trustworthy. We have an old, grumpy cocker, who had to cope with a change in routine, a house move and more time on his own! He was quite difficult to begin with and not really used to being around other dogs regularly, but having spent time with Kevin, he is much more sociable. We are new to the area and new to having a little puppy it's been my first time leaving tillie and he service Nicole and her family have given has been amazing I couldn't ask for anything better. Her report cards are fantastic and help you to know what your puppy has been up to, her contact and communication with you when away is superb and puts you at ease and her home is lovely. This is the second time that Billy has stayed with Susan first for a weekend and this time for 12 nights. Susan and Nicola were very good with communication regarding booking/payment etc. Susan was very helpful and reassuring when it came to dropping him off and leaving him. It was so lovely getting updates including photos and little video clips, knowing he was happy and well cared for. After lots of searching I'm so pleased I found this dog boarding school, I didn't want to send Remi to kennels and was looking for a home from home experience and this is what I got, I was so worried leaving him as it's our first time but I can safely say Remi was cared for like their own, I had daily updates and photos too! ! Remi stayed with Julie and her husband Ian with their 2 dogs Lola and Charlie!! We can't thank Nicola and her family enough for taking care of Ben for the day whilst we were busy getting married, he was well looked after, they picked him up from our home and dropped him off in the evening and stayed with him for a while to make sure he was ok, they messaged us throughout the day to say he was fine just to put our minds at rest. What a first class service. Finding the right people to leave Noodle with is as important to me as a parent finding a babysitter to look after their child. From the initial meeting of Nicola, her family and Tillie I had absolutely no reservations that they would be a perfect choice. Noodle has come back happy and tired and I'm sure he is missing his new friends. Our dog Skye stayed here for 17 nights and absolutely loved it and made loads of new friends. We received regular photos and videos from Nicola while we were away which really puts your mind at rest. Skye was even groomed for when we picked her up and looked and smelt beautiful. I love this service! Having just moved to the area it is so useful having Nicola to visit my cat Macy. Nicola came to meet her first which was very reassuring. Macy is nearly 18 years old and I didn't want her to go to a cattery. I recommend Nicola to anyone with a cat or a dog. I got messages and pictures while I was away. It so put my mind at rest, as I know Nicola is experienced with animals and would know exactly what to do if there was a problem. Have booked again and will be using in the future. More...

I left Luna in the amazing and lovely Nicky's hands for 10 nights and she loved it. It was the first time for leaving her and it will definiately not be the last. After a long search on the internet to find doggy boarding close to home my husband and I came across Nicola and after reading the reviews we left our Polly pug for the first time for 13 nights

Nicola and her family were so welcoming and you can tell that she cares for all of the dogs that come into her home. I was instantly put at ease knowing that Polly would be well looked after!

Nicola kept us up to date on Polly by sending us photos and videos and she even had a groom before taking her home!

I was stuck in a real quandary. After re homing a gorgeous labradore earlier this year I became really anxious about who I would entrust to look after him whilst I am on holiday. It's because he isn't just a dog he is our beloved companion, adored by all. I knew I couldn't leave him in a kennel. Nice as they may be they can't give him the attention, love and fuss he needs. BUT the solution was easy. .. Nicola from Home from Home Pets ! He has spent his first holiday with Nicola and her lovely family. He was loved and cared for like their own. I will have no reservations in recommending the service provided. He was great with Tillie, Nicolas dog and the other dogs who were also there during his 9 night sleepover! Nicola has walked and looked after our miniature dachshunds on numerous occasions. As soon as we met with her I was so pleased we had been recommended to her. She is always available to help whenever needed and i have total faith in her when she is looking after them. I love how she updates FB with pictures of them in the park and enjoying themselves. Nicola is so very welcoming she puts you at ease straight away. She looked after our puppy so well took him for walks and played in the garden. It was very safe and secure. He had a lovely time. She kept in contact throughput the day with message's and photo's as well which was very helpful and put us at ease. We can highly recommend her services from beginning to end. Family so welcoming. Nicola offers more than a dog boarding service, as a family they take your pet into their home and treat your beloved dog as their own. My Tobi is a much loved part of our family and I needed to leave him with someone who would treat him just as we do. Home from home pets offer an outstanding service, they really do care and keep you updated with how your pet is doing.
We even had a report card when he returned home with details on what he did during the day.
I highly recommend home from home pets and I know Tobi would love to visit again.
